I mean in all the dialog about redheads being black, I don’t think anyone mentioned that 😂

Two things…actually three.
1. The two party system
2. The senate
3. The electoral college
All of them take away from democratic representation. Each state no matter the population gets equal representation in the senate. The EC nullifies the vote of sometimes half the population in each state.

Yes. 😂
This is like the favorite weather question. Love without reciprocation sucks royally. Mutual love has this harmony that creates a feedback loop. But instead of a loud squelch like when a mic is too close to a speaker, you get amplified happiness. Her happiness brings me joy and vice versa

Intellectual dishonesty. IE standing by an argument in spite of refuting evidence. This is different from ignorance. I give a LOT of grace here. Sometimes too much. But once it’s evident, I’ll check out on the conversation.

I’ve unlearned the need to be heard. I focus more on being present in the conversation and letting others feel heard

I think it’s why I’ve been dragging my feet on watching season two. Because they did an amazing job with Cass.

Saw was introduced in the Clone Wars animated series. The 3D Animated one not the film. I would recommend it to you but it’s seven seasons and not every episode is worth watching. Like it was targeted at kids at first before a shift around season four or five.

Someone pointed out that Rogue One doesn’t have an opening crawl because it literally is the opening crawl for A New Hope.

If you liked Rogue One, check out Shadows of the Empire. It was a book set between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi that has a similar effect.

Ahhh I get what you’re saying. For me Andor was an opportunity to learn more about Cassian. For you rogue one was like an epilogue to the series.

Yeah I appreciate how a long form series lets the story breathe in a way a movie can’t. Like imagine Game of Thrones where each season was just a feature film. Condensing all the events from Robert visiting Winterfell to Ned being beheaded into ninety minutes it’s impossible to do right.

But yeah someone should’ve at least given you the heads up that it was the direct prequel of A New Hope. Telling the story of the mission to steal the Death Star plans.

Oh wow. I actually enjoyed Rogue One. Even going in knowing the mission was doomed (well not the mission itself but that they weren’t surviving) the writing was good enough to make me feel vested in the characters. Kinda like the Titanic movie.

Ugh I’ve got some catching up to do. So it’ll be out of order.
You’re On My Mind By Soul For Real (they even did the video in a roller rink)
And by extension Outstanding by the Gap Band since Heavy D sampled from it.

Also I took a photo of just the border on the left and asked ChatGPT what the runes meant. And it went on to say “the paw print suggests that it is related to the Space wolves from Warhammer 40K” it’s friggin uncanny how good it is.

Tough call. First thing that came to mind was Wilson Fisk putting a hit on Peter Parker which put Aunt Mae in the hospital causing Peter to crash out, break into his prison and put his foot in Fisk’s ass.
Then you have The Joker kidnapping, torturing, and killing Jason Todd

I have a project I’ve been using to explore High Velocity Engineering (using code agents to increase your capacity and productivity as a software engineer). I designed it originally as a local utility to catalog my secret lairs for selling my cards. So I need to restructure to run in cloud.

Then you realize that Prince wrote both Purple Rain and Ice Cream Castle. In fact he produced and performed instrumentals for all of the Time’s albums Warner Bros wouldn’t allow him to publish all the music he wanted so he formed a new band to perform his extra tracks.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “wow if we had listened to Michael earlier we could’ve avoided this.” It’s not like I’ve been paid to consider the unobvious implications of decisions for the past thirty years or something.
