I *will say* I feel like the advantage of 2D fighting games over 3D is that if you already play one at a high level you'll adapt to a new one fairly quick. The differences tend to just be in the system mechanics.

I think the Saudi ownership of SNK is leading to all these really dumb decisions in character additions to CotW. The game still looks great, and likely I won't end up seeing these characters in game because it sounds like no one will play them. Not much market for a self admitted r*pist and a DJ.

It's really crucial to understand how badly framed this is. There is no Signal vulnerability. The Pentagon email did a bad job explaining a Google report from a month ago and NPR repeated it. This is like saying because you got a phishing email at your Gmail address, there's a Google vulnerability.

You should use Signal. Seriously. There are other encrypted messaging apps out there, but I don’t have as much faith in their longevity. In particular I have major concerns about the sustainability of for-profit apps like WhatsApp in our new “AI” world.
