2. So much of the conversation in Democratic circles and in parts of political media has been about messaging.
'Oh, Democrats just need better messaging,' I hear folks say.
Wrong. Even if Dems had the perfect message, it wouldn't get anywhere. This isn't messaging problem; it's a media crisis.

So I knew the one character was playing the other characters, and just couldn't get into the story or have a feel for who were the good guys, or if there were bad guys or what was going on. Then at the very end of the book, the action kicked in and then it finished almost on a to be continued..

Tesla did this, discussion and some workarounds: news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3362... One suggestion was translate it into another language and translate back and spacing should be wiped.

If you decide to watch it, the pilot movie was The Gathering. There are some changes to design and characters going into the regular series. First season is more episodic and sets up a lot of the rest of the arcs. This was one of the first, if not the first US show to have the overall arcs.

Sheridan:As long as just one person refuses to be broken, refuses to bow down.
Interrogator: But can you win?
Sheridan: Every time I say "no."
It is amazing how relevant this show still is.

I liked the story from 1961 where the farmer claimed a UFO saucer landed, came out with a bucket that he filled with water for them, and then gave him pancakes before departing. (The pancakes weren't very good!)
