I often wonder what my neighbours think of the (invariably relatively strange) music blasting out of my house every day!
I like to think of it as my contribution to the community. 😊

I was going to say, if you get bored you can skip to around the 3 minute mark, when the tempo changes and then again to about 5:12, when the snare kicks in magnificently and it all goes up another gear.
I love this stuff.

I liked that. New to me, of course.

Brilliant.
T. Rex will always have a special place in my musical heart. I remember hearing Telegram Sam in the car in 1972 (coming back from watching stock car racing) and something clicked in me.

Oh, that takes me back. Although by the time SG was on, I'd pretty much outgrown it.

I don’t doubt you at all. 👍🏻
Any more than I doubt you’d have any trouble making AI fake paint pots to suit your chosen tune! 🤔

They were an odd bunch..and consequently I enjoyed that.
Definite bonus points for that colour….although it’s becoming clear that almost anything can be the name of a colour if you google hard enough!

In the end, those lucky people following us were able to hear both! 😁

That is sad.....but to be honest, he's the kind of character that, not so long ago, I was surprised to find out was still alive.
What a contribution he made to music.

Funny you should say that. Moments before reading your comment, I was chuckling at another post.
And I quote: “The man clearly has vision issues…”

He took a chance, dropping such a bomb like that to an unprepared elderly fellow! Lucky you have a strong heart!

Excellent choice! I love a bit of Tim Buckley.
This one always reminds me of Jacques Brel's "La Valse à Mille Temps".

Only in 1981.
Out of necessity, coz the pickings were too slim.

I wasn’t a teenage girl in 1981, nor any other year for that matter.
I was being a smidge flippant with my comment before, and I’m sure there was a tonne of good stuff in 1981, but that Festive 50 speaks volumes - only 1 of the top 10 was actually released in 1981. 🤔
