Selecting desktop mode if you're on mobile is also worth a try, or checking your JavaScript or whatever video plug in is running, is enabled in site security settings.

Is there a way to make it full screen and then maybe get some controls or a status/progress /playback bar? Or sometimes videos still will let you select a previous playback pt, like YouTube-but the bar is invisible at the bottom, or really really skinny on the edge bc it got sized wrong on website.

( other types of video players/streams might let you scroll back, but might end when live stream ends no matter what part you were watching )

Is it on YouTube? If you hover your cursor over, or tap briefly on, the video, a red status bar at the bottom of the video may pop up, and you can click on it to navigate to a previous time in the live stream. On YouTube you can watch till end even if stream has ended,

I've been partial to Deplorean for a while, but options are always good.

Why not usher in new candidates under the shelter of a safe seat? Does the DNC want to control passing the torch in a way that preserves their traditions or not? Hogg's approach may have more bristles than sense...but something needs to give, or no amount of manosphere podcast consultants will help

2020 saw the highest youth turnout ever and it wasn't for Biden.... 2024 Dems failed to bring this key demographic back to the polls. Progressive promises about min wage, healthcare, and student loan interest relief won them over. Bizarre how abandoning popular progressive policies shed those votes.

A place where the partisan asymmetry is very striking: 41% of Democrats approve of congressional Democrats (54% disapprove). 79% of Republicans approve of congressional Republicans (13% disapprove).

And the fact that there is almost no research on it means doctors can blame it for EVERYTHING. So many cancers go undetected until it is WAY too late because a GP said "menopause" or "perimenopause" or "just lose some weight" or "exercise more" The gaslighting is UNIVERSAL.

Incel men: - Complain about women "invading" their hobby spaces - Complain that women aren't making their own hobby spaces welcoming to men - Complain that women are boring and don't share their interests - Complain about women "friendzoning" them - *Mysteriously can't find women to date*

Then add recursive rot of LLM into the knowledge ecosystem and its not just the populace getting dumber and dumber and more susceptible to propaganda and information that's been manipulated from the powers that be... But its also the impacts of knowledge base and digital record getting enshittified.

Certainly are. We're digitizing everything and then rationalizing we don't have to value and fund hard copy archival systems anymore... while also failing to maintain good fidelity and access on our digitization of that material. Digital records are so much more ephemeral than most people imagine.
