I keep forgetting to take photos of it when I'm over there, but the new curb-protected bike lanes along Halsted between Back of the Yards and Englewood have been getting installed recently. I'm so glad they're there - Halsted is an obvious backbone route, but downright dangerous in many stretches.

I don’t care what city or town you live in. If these guys jumped out of an unmarked van and grabbed you on the street, would you just assume they’re ICE or FBI? Would you willingly comply with their orders and get inside the van? THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. THIS IS NOT AMERICA.
