I expected Starmer to be a pragmatic but competent PM, who I would not agree with on many things but who would be a relief after the clown show. And while he is certainly better than the Tory mess his pandering to the proto-fascists and his choices on where to cut spending are disillusioning.

I just wrote: "Switching from ICE to DoD Custody: An Alarming Violation of Court Order on Deportations to El Salvador" Astonishing. Read ICE official's affidavit. ICE had the detainees in their custody before turning them over to DOD for transfer to torture in El Salvador. AFTER court issued TRO.

Elon's involvement in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race cost his candidate around 5% of the vote--even though he spent $25 million dollars on his behalf. Elon's endorsee ran 5 points behind the other statewide Republican candidate. That's an unbelievably negative return on investment.
