great plants. i have a couple in the garden i grew from seed and they are thriving. you can cut them down the ground basically and they come back strong. readily reseed all around as well.

i had built up my kiln loading and firing experience for a couple of years working in various community studios. even still there were things that were new to me when i had my own. i wouldn't call it hard but it can be nerve wracking if you're unexperienced because it's a very very hot box.

i have a wheel brent cxc and a kiln l&l e-23s both bought new probably around 7k total. you can scour craigslist and fb marketplace and find good deals on used wheels and kilns. costs me about 20-30 dollars a firing.
