Lol, you just popped up in my feed while I was listening to the episode. Didn't know you were on here.

You know what, that took a moment to parse, but I totally get it.

I've noticed I fall in the priory while typically being the game master which means I rarely get to use all the toys I make, as it were.

They're just a little too silly about their games

DnD is the hotdog and light beer of the ttrpg world. When you inspect it on a deeper level it's not great, but perfectly enjoyable in the moment.

May your family all be happy on this day and those forthcoming.

When I play DnD it's still gonna be the 2014 version. Made too much homebrew to change it.

An Abattoir that long ago stopped harvesting farm animals and now processes the corpses of monsters of the night. They still sell their famed canned mystery meat every Thursday though.

A night club run by a trio of siblings with mixed angelic and abyssal blood, located under a burnt down church. To enter you have to go through a secret passage in a confession booth. Only accessible after confessing a sin (giving them blackmail material).

Other things I'm adding include: A library that is a cover for a cult, but the store owner is none the wiser. She just likes that people are intrested in reading.

I happened to catch the ending at a chippy (yes very on brand), and let's just say if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I'd assume it was bad fan fiction.

Thanks for the space, Adam! I've been working on a 5e replacement for about two years. Where I do things like make fighters tactical, give rangers themes, and warlocks spell slots! My patrons get access to the playtest materials! Check it out, it's awesome! www.patreon.com/posts/6th-da...

My cool stuff! I'm publishing novellas based on solo ttrpg playthroughs! The Tale of Ebon-Eyed Tatya is based on a playthrough of S. Kaiya's Untitled Moth Game and follows Tatya's attempts to rescue her love from an evil Tyrant. ko-fi.com/s/43745961d9

The asymmetry is interesting.

I think I never finished it because I was getting bogged down in the "spell" equivalents

I'm sure there was a middle ground at some point where it had no spell slots and just a butt-load of talent dice. Do bad we ain't there.
