ok, buddy, you keep your head buried in the sand. that'll surely work. bye now

I've argued in a reasoned way, trying to explain why I believe what I do, so I don't know where fuckwit came from. You're just angry you can't offer any support for your stance except your ignorance. But by all means keep your head buried in the sand, that will work

that doesn't mean anything to me. how do you know it's too small per person? billions of people in the west have too much and waste it, they literally throw food, clothes, stuff out in massive quantities. that tells me the issue is with distribution, not availability

I mean that if you choose to not know what is happening, now wonder you believe it isn't happening
comment in response to post
well that explains your opinions

it is still huge. look at how much is wasted in the "developed" world. look at how much land is used up for growing animal feed that could instead be used to grow food for humans, for example. overpopulation is a racist myth

you didn't even read the whole thing. it's not just radio hosts, there are more people, in different fields, that were interviewed - an illustrator, a copywriter, a voice actor, and a graphic designer. are those not real jobs either?

as I said, and linked, they've already started. you judt choose to press your hands to your eara and go la la la la

it's a proposed solution to overproduction, so it's directly related to sustainability

we were talking about the effect of mass layoffs, not your job in particular

It seems Israelis assume "never again" only applies to Jews. And so do Germans, evidently

He did actually, where do you think the idea of a planned economy came from?
comment in response to post
Israel has been brazenly lying from the babies in ovens incident and there are still idiots who believe every word they say
comment in response to post
ironic, given you're spouting it here. the whole "hamas is there" narrative has been propaganda from the start

another way it makes sense is Israel is an occupier, and this is the natural conclusion of colonialism, both practically and spiritually

Israelis; but it's no wonder, in fact I'd say it makes sense - same way it makes sense the Germans of all people are sleeping on another genocide. When you convince yourself it can't happen to you because you lived it/because you learnt your lesson, you're more likely to fall into it

If someone believed that, then by definition they don’t know any actual gang members and are personally unaffected by gang violence, so they were still voting to deport an imaginary racialized boogeyman.

bingo. no way are they risking their health, they're just paving the way for deregulation
comment in response to post
I see no indication of the latter, sadly

No data, only vibes. Gee, I wonder why they want to gut our research infrastructure?

also actual gender equality. I'd probably have children if, culturally, motherhood wasn't basically a collection of misogynistic tropes

What's especially frustrating is that the line about trauma expansion/redefinition isn't ~wrong~, per se, but it's certainly a weaponized point, and any nuance around "discomfort =/= unsafe" etc will immediately get lost in the discourse, 🫠

Back in MY day we contributed to the cycle of abuse, nobody was happy for generations, and we liked it!

the old attacking a thing you don’t like with a thing you made up as a problem gambit
comment in response to post
I think she's insinuating they're making it up

what kind of a braindead take is that? dying from infection was once considered an unavoidable part of life
