Adriana Smith’s child was born by C-section on June 13th around 4:40am. He weighed less than 2 lbs.
Ms. Smith’s birthday passed over the weekend, and she is expected to be removed from life support as early as today.

Spokane police are here. Crowd is huge. 300-500. It’s gotten way escalated with shouting and music. Spokane police dept is armed with less lethal weapons. Sheriffs office just rolled up

Part of the reason I wanted to highlight Kelvin’s story is because he’s not the perfect immigrant. His narrative isn’t linear and he’s made mistakes like all of us. But he’s a good man with a family who loves him. He’s the kind of person I want in my community.
