The MOST important thing about the Switch 2 so far is the fact that I can still play Hollow Knight.

For about ten seconds....yes. And then I remember that I'll probably be disappointing them in person in a few hours, and then I remember that I don't give a shit. They're corporate parasites. Fuck em.

Instead of saying “Their lyrics have always been political, you just weren’t paying attention,” consider “lol fake fan, git rekt poser”

This might be the absolute greatest reply we have ever received. Thank you, Cookie Monster 📕🍪💙

Welcome to the party! No one's late, here. 😁🖖

This photo cannot help but induce a smile. #StarTrek

One of the best moments from "Improbable Cause." 🖖

The entire plot of "In the Pale Moonlight."

I wonder if these people would’ve said the same thing about Star Trek and James Bond during their many down eras in pop culture. Franchises ebbing and flowing is not only normal… but also healthy to both pop culture and the franchise.

Why are some nerds, historically maligned for their nerdism & subject to torment/ridicule during childhood, such absolute shit stains when their special nerd wank fantasy is not exactly as they would have made it? Star Trek, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, every fucking fandom just full of insufferable dinks

If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people: 1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money 3) We won’t need a lot of troops 4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq 5) We’ll find WMDs 6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators 7) It will be easy 8) It won’t take long All lies.

This is why you're awesome, dude. 🤘

I know this flick gets shat on a LOT....and for good reason. It's easily the second worst of the TOS era flicks (first would be....well, the first). That said, I have a fondness for this movie, despite its glaring flaws.

So, apparently, the reason I can't get Ernie Ball strings at my local guitar shop is because Ernie Ball has decided to sell them cheaper through Amazon and larger retailers, and telling smaller stores like the one I go to to eat the cost. So I guess I'll be buying GHS now. Fuck you, Ernie Ball. 🖕

So, considering that the likes of Doom 2016, Doom Eternal, and The Witcher 3 were considered miracle ports on the Switch 1 (all of which look and play to....myriad levels of quality, yet still somehow manage to WORK), the fact that the Switch 2 has Cyberpunk as a launch title that DOES work? Wow. 🤯

So, Mario Kart World is an INCREDIBLY fun game. Everything about my experience has been a joy so far. The races are delightful. The obstacles, from navigating through occasional brutal traffic to animal stampedes to FREAKING DINOSAURS! Love it.

Gee, I'd love to, but at 63, I am far too young to hold any office in the Democratic Party. Seems like they prefer folks in their 80s and 90s, like Chuckles Grassley.

Hey @quadt.bsky.social , since you're more experienced than I am re: tech, I'm curious to know what your experience with the Switch 2 has been since it launched two weeks ago. What games you're playing, have you tried some of the older games with the newer enhancements, launch games, etc.

Excellent article on the consequences in Alaska of the proposed Medicaid cuts in the BBB. Devastating for Alaska, please read:

🚨🚨🚨This is the first article explaining the implications of land sales, oil and gas development in the #Arctic, logging the #Tongass, and #AmblerRoad specifically as it affects Alaska. It’s absolutely outrageous what the Alaska Federal Delegation has planned. The Big Beautiful Land Steal in Alaska:

In rural Alaska, a village turns to solar and biomass energies to cut diesel and save money "The solar farm won't necessarily lower people's electricity bills. But like the biomass plant, the hope is that it will stabilize energy costs ..." www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

You have my attention!

For those that know, would there be any interest in doing a talk on Spenard divorce again? With new material on a stripper wife who did get away with murder. For those that don't know, it was a talk I gave a couple of years ago.

Fuckin A right, Santa.

Golly gee, I hope no Cult Members get snatched off the street by masked warrantless people driving up in privately owned vehicles. Hope none of them get roughed up or tossed around while cuffed. That kind of thing would make the rest of the Culties super sad.
