I have literally taught Canadian history out of a textbook and had grown adults yell at me that I’m wrong. In the class I took on Indigenous legal history no less than 5 white people had complete meltdowns over class material they refused to accept.

I haven't made it to a convention in nearly a decade. I've been even more poor than usual, and I now live in rural middle Illinois with no car -- so that seems unlikely to change. Not sure I'd go if I could, as I'm still covid 0 and I'd like to keep it that way. It's the one thing going right.
