A few starfish/sea star observations: 1) Last year I saw several bat stars. I don't think I've seen any this year? 2) I've seen lots of mottled stars this year, not sure I saw any last year? (Or not as many?)

Only moon snail I saw today was this empty shell colonized by a couple of isopods and several limpets (I told GVD about this find today; neither of us could immediately think of the word "limpet"; of course I blurted it out like 20 minutes later when I blanked on a theme from yesterday's sesh, 🙄😂)

Whoa. Actually! *Two* of the three red anemones had a few of their tentacles out. This was the first one I saw; I remember now I could tell it wasn't fully closed up but I'm not sure I could see its tentacles as clearly as I can now in the photo.

ASSUMING I need to replace the engine coils (since the code reader said either spark plugs or engine coils and I already did the spark plugs) and it's not a brand new issue... ...Jiffy Lube dude gave an estimate of like $950 to replace all six; potentially lower if only one needs to be replaced 🙃😭

Today's the lowest tide of the year! It'll drop to -4.05ft at Alki a little before 12:30pm (so jealous of anyone who can make it out there!) and -3.85ft by a little after 1:30pm at my usual spot. Thought I'd miss it but my afternoon cts all cancelled so I'm heading out after this session!!
