(She wouldn't let me get my driver's license but also wouldn't drive me to/from work- or let me practice more to get said driver's license; said regular babysitting gigs didn't count, even interfered with a lowkey admin job I briefly had at her workplace, saying I wasn't "properly" hired, etc etc)

It is, yes! I'd say it works decently well, except the suction never seems to stick so I wish it were a little bigger to better be able to hold it down with one foot while I scrub the other one. But defs easier balance-wise than trying to scrub my heels with a washcloth!

Maybe if I could've given her more time (I have an 8am ct so had to get in there!) but she seemed more interested in batting it around than actually eating it. So I put Rumi in the tub but he was too mad at me for picking him up, lol. So it got unceremoniously washed down the drain π

Bat stars ~sorta~ look like leather stars but their arms are more webbed and they don't have that spotted/mottled look

3) March/April/early May I mostly saw ochre and mottled stars; now I'm mostly seeing leather stars- and lots of lil baby leathers!
4) I'm seeing so many more now this year- not sure if it's cause I better know where to look or that they've fully rebounded from the wasting disease outbreak. Both?

Would much rather put that $950 toward a new[er to me] car! Buuut I can't imagine a car with its check engine light on is worth much? π«
Hopefully this buys me at least another year with the Xterra, ~i guess~, even if its terrible mileage+high gas prices continue to suck. Blerggg

...and their v traditional psychoanalytic supervisor was all, "You have religious icons in your office?? Why would you interfere with the transference in this way!?" Meanwhile, said analytic supervisor had multiple busts of Freud and other early analysts, as well as (tasteful?) nudes in their office

Ok, so. Early in their career, GVD rented office space in an Orthodox church, so there were lots of icons and whatnot in the office. Once in supervision, they read a session note where a pt commented on one of the icons...

Hahaha, GVD has a good story about this! I'll reply back in a bit once I'm at the water π

I have to leave by 2pm or so for a meeting/session/therapy later this afternoon but I'm glad I at least get a good couple hours out there today!

I thought about Hitchcock but I don't actually do well with "scary" movies so had to leave him off my own list, haha. But in terms of cinematography...!

(GVD would disagree with my characterization of my reaction, lol. They would point out I didn't actually act out any of my so-called revenge fantasies; they would also note my impulse to withdraw makes sense and is On Brandβ’ [ie, not a surprise])
