Good. Pretty sure that is banned or illegal to participate in, anyway.

More states/municipalities should probably deploy state/local law enforcement to monitor ICE actions and intervene when those actions are reasonably outside fed. authority and in contravention of state law. “Necessary and proper” probably does not include unlawful actions in violation of state law.

Propaganda a la Ludovico.
It shouldn’t have become a “bloody warzone”. Or genocide.

Clearly one concludes she’s lying under oath. Call it out. 1800’s sources are not the Constitution - it says what it says. She also dissembles on habeas corpus - whether “political branches” consider it is irrelevant; it’s not before the federal courts. She’s not an idiot, but she blurs the line.

We need local prosecution of obvious violations of state law that are clearly outside any federal authorizations.

As though it is not abundantly clear to the world that they were already intending to annex. The typical blame charade won’t work in this instance.

Then those of you who are attorneys probably have an ethical obligation to supplement your report of him for bar discipline, with all supporting docs (if you haven’t already; if you have, then great). Your GOP colleagues should also join you in blocking his approval.

Cambridge folk (incl. many Jews) simply dislike excuses, false equivalencies or historical justifications, or other gaslighting attempts to justify Israel’s actions. It’s principle, not persecution. Any concomitant negative feelings are Israel’s doing. Israel can change that mood by changing course.

We’ve seen what happens when a head of state and John Adams disagree….

Fwiw, in the case of Judge Shelley Joseph in MA (on similar allegations during Trump 1) charges were dropped in 2022 with conditions and she is now facing judicial ethics charges instead.

Pretty sure that’s two weeks ago, but still excellent!

Probably not “hindering” where ICE obstructed/interfered with admin. of justice, and it wasn’t “necessary and proper”. No reason ICE couldn’t detain him after. Only “hindering” when ICE acts lawfully. Set teams to follow ICE to intervene when their actions violate state law; state’s have interests.

Aging mafioso wannabe, still playing checkers. CNN would benefit more by resisting.

True. We need to ensure that the attorneys and courts whose jobs it is are not illegally obstructed or defied. (And again, different guy.)

Happy to entertain any reliable evidence, but no room for breaks when liberty is on the line. Public speeches or saying politically controversial things is gen. not illegal = 1st Amendment. We may not like what is said, but we defend the right to say it, or else. This is skirting “or else” terrain.

All of that is not fine, and it seems he’d agree with you. But, those events happened after he reportedly stepped back and was working to build bridges; there’s no evidence (I’ve seen) that he engaged in such conduct, though I’m open to it. 1st Am still applies. E.g., see amp.cnn.com/cnn/2025/04/...

Ah, a sublime era - the South was digging out of a scorched earth, with federal troops occupying for 20 years or so, and 1 out of 3 of every southern household was dead; Jim Crow was stirring and the KKK was wet behind the ears. Oh yes, and German immigrants, like grandpa Trump, were undesirables.

Is this HOA lawyer (who, at the top, appears to have known or should have known of or assisted with the fabricated/false lease and submitted it to a court as evidence) still an attorney or were they suspended or disbarred?

Cheaper, faster, easier is naive, short-sighted, unsustainable, and detrimental to health and the environment. Deal with artificial scarcity, inflated rent scams, housing-as-commodity atrocities, fake supply chain issues, limiting 2nd/3rd+ home ‘passive income’ schemes, etc. The units exist.

There was clearly no struggle. Wu in particular was solid with unassailable numbers for Boston, and GOP reps came off as (predictably) foundering and unfocused. Do better Politico.
