When I say " train" I really mean, try to keep up with him 😂

I used to train with him years ago. (Pre "Tache" days) Nice guy and a very good cyclist

I know that guy, Jacob Kennison

This will be full on racing and will be a big softener for tomorrow, who can handle the fatigue best...

Have you said thank you once?

I think he has potential this year, he's definitely improved and a few years older and wiser. A stage win and maybe top 10 finish, possibly top 5. That would be his maximum

Yeah I know, I was joking really, he's a top 10 rider now, can't put him alongside the big hitters I'm afraid

He's the silver medal goat, no one has or will have more 2nd places than Wout

I just think the fact Pogi was still there until one singular mistake AND the fact he'll be fighting for his 4th tdf this year shouldn't be over looked, whereas the die hard MVDP fans will be at best hoping for a stage win at this year's tour. Alpecin are brilliant at one, single part of cycling

A classics rider beating a grand tour specialist in a classic....hmmm

I was wrong for using the " dear" shit so I apologise

We're on road bikes today dear

My point is all about your first sentence up until the full stop. When you have a rider like Pogacar taking on the classics riders at theirs own game AND beating The Vinge in grand tours, I can't help but feel we're witnessing the best goat after Merckx so I'm embracing that mother fucker

I know! But it never used to be the case

I love the riders that can do EVERYTHING including stage races and grand tours. Pogi can, Mathieu, can't

One trip pony, boring

They need to show some versatility to gety recognition

Which is where the similarities come from regarding the Merckx era I suppose

Has there ever been a greater classics rivalry....AND Grand tour rivalry involving the same rider? ( Pogi Vs MVDP & Pogi Vs Vingegaard)

I can't see where he'd get separation from the big boys at Roubaix.

Reminder...Pogi is 26 😮
