I'd imagine that's why the only houses we dig up in archaeology are mud brick and stone houses.

Horribe😔 I would venture that almost nothing can withstand truly intense heat, of course, just that fast-moving fires like that can move past a fireproof house if they've got nothing to catch on to initially. I also lived through such fires and it's.. hell.

The 60 sec is probably the biggest one rn, two minutes would hit the sweet spot and make a HUGE difference imo.

🤣Breaking news: special illuminati hurricane-making machines were used to transport all that scarce Californian water to insatiable Ukrainians!:

And the comments to Elon's "pro-gamer" play-pretend are just.. wow🤯 "Imagine being the richest guy in the world with a colossal amount of influence, and STILL feeling the need to lie about your gaming skills to get validation from nerds." 🎯 Also people mention he's done it in not just Path of Exile.

Here's one of the long "reaction" videos. The common theme there is: PoE2 is such a game that it would garner much more actual_respect if Elon showed how he beats a mere Act2 boss several hours into the game, as it shows actual playing skill. This is just..sad. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6N-W...

🤦‍♂️The comments to the videos of pro-gamers laughing at Elon's prowess-bragging are incredibly telling, too. "If he's willing to lie about something this_small, what else is this guy willing to do? He's mucking around in multiple governments including our own and he'll lie about something THIS SMALL"

I often hear "democracy is the worst form of government except for all the others that we tried". Perhaps we've matured enough to make our democracy a bit more sophisticated? Because status quo is still flawed and unaccountable for "abusive exes", that seem to want to move in with eery regularity.😔⏹️

If next to a ☑️yes vote was also a 🚮"hell no" vote with an intensity scale. Something to show the "if the abusive ex wins, I will lay on the road and block traffic" level of opposition.⬇️

Protests are a healthy/necessary "addition" to the democratic process you'd say? No. They're a symptom of its failures. They are a last-ditch extreme avoidable measure. Avoidable IF the democratic process was more sophisticated and nuanced.⬇️

The INTENSITY of their rejection doesn't match the intensity of the rest of the population's dislike for the opponent! If a pro-European candidate won the elections in 🇬🇪, NOBODY would take to the streets protesting. They might be upset, but not upset_enough to make their vote "weigh more".
comment in response to post
..because she would be willing to immediately leave the house or even harm herself if that abuser is allowed to live next door! Protests reveal the same. People march the streets ready to be beaten incarcerated & (I remember Ukraine) shot, but not_willing to tolerate an "abusive ex in their home"⬇️

The 50/50 democratic_vote would ignore that fact. It would not put any extra weight to your sister's extreme emotions about the candidate, it would ONLY account for her yes/no vote. But in a real family, her position would overpower a 80/20 vote or higher,⬇️
comment in response to post
Imagine living in a big house and gathering with your family to decide between two candidates to let a spare room to. Both candidates seem fine, and the votes split almost 50/50, but then your sister comes home and notices that one of the candidates is... her abusive ex.⬇️

Which tanks occupied Crimea? 😔
comment in response to post
If one's actual job description (is cyrillic smallprint) is to "break America up from within" than he's actually perfect for the job.☑️
comment in response to post
Yes except for a situation when those are radical russian/extremist occupant agents basically whose aim is not to seek refuge and integrate into your society but to "occupy" it and later destroy it from within. Wars are not just fought with tanks anymore. Unfortunately. Worth noting. Otherwise, yes.

Uhm, where was Littlefinger committing mass killings of a certain group? Am I forgetting something? This comparison is kinda whitewashing him.

Sounds about right. Man Ukraine is promoting green lifestyle effectively!♻️ "Closing" oil refineries, promoting refurbishing...☑️

Does what happened in Romania count? Because the same thing happened in the US kinda.

"Where do you store your undocumented immigrants?" feels like an appropriate follow-up question here 😅

Horrible that this is happening in modern Europe. We're supposed to be civilised. Yeah, too civilised and too tolerant to allow a Mordor army to grow at our borders despite all the warning signs.😔

Yes, Turkiye should help russian troops withdraw safely so they can go on and kill kore Ukrainians. Not.
comment in response to post
Omg the world will like instantly become a better safer place to live in, once Russia actually loses and breaks down.🤯

Yep. Pantheon is great science fiction🧚 where artificial intelligence god helps humans instead of simply wiping us out (realism usually makes for bad TV as everyone just suddenly dies, the end). A beautiful hopium fairy-tale anime beloved by ego-tripping AI devs.☑️ ⏸️🤖

Oh there's tech NOW that "can save us": spraying poison into upper atmosphere and hoping it all works out.🙄 Alternatively, stopping the record-profit fossil fuel industry, solar on every roof, etc.
comment in response to post
We're already likely in the timeline where some countries will unilaterally spray some poison into upper atmosphere or nuke volcanoes and not ask anyone for permission. We're just a few million deaths away from this. Time to start a HAZMAT-suit business.😔

Monstrous behaviour by Russians both in Ukraine and in the world 😔
comment in response to post
Nice:) (But Ukraine was never Russia. Russia was part of "Kyivan Rus" once, the other way around. USSR is not "Russia" just as EU is not Germany.)
