Future research directions include studying more diverse populations, exploring the role of sexual orientation in MPR proclivity, and investigating the concordance between interest in MPR and actual behavior.

The study compared women's responses to the prior validation study with men using the Multiple-Perpetrator Rape Interest Scale (M-PRIS). While 66% of men in the initial validation showed some interest in MPR, about 37% of women in this study showed similar interest levels.

I'm really sorry to hear! I think it could be a poor decision as social media provides an important arena for social support (which can help with prevention, if that's what people would like to see). I truly hope @bsky.app consults with experts in the area before making these types of decisions!
