Now there’s a surprise! Reform will bankrupt the 10 councils they now control. They have no clue. They may as well be called the “Anti Immigration Party” because that’s all they really are. They don’t understand the value that immigrants have brought to this country!

Brilliantly put! And I am a southerner!!

Farage has never cared about facts or accuracy. Ask him how much money he has made out of Reform and I’ll bet he can tell you to the penny. Ask him about diversity, equality and inclusion and he’ll make something up to suit his narrative!

It is a terrible shame that the Torygraph wins anything. It used to be a respectable broadsheet, it is now just a propaganda rag for Reform party. It moved further to the right to prop up Johnson and Sunak and has found its new home with Reform party. The demise of a decent paper.

#bbclaurak is way too right wing. It is time she was quietly retired from the BBC. She gives the right full reign to do and say what they want, but she shuts anyone else down. She let’s Farage ramble on without substance, but shuts down anyone from the actual government of the day!

We should never have left. End of. Brexshiteers are living in the past. The vote, based on lies and false promises, was 9 years ago. The world has moved on. Most have recognised Brexshit for the waste of money and time it was. Only dinosaurs still think it has value.

What a shame. A very talented broadcasters who brought a lot of credibility to the BBC.

Laura Keunsberg is a right wing activist who is determined to ensure that the centre gets no voice. She is an embarrassment to the BBC and, frankly, should be dropped. The BBC is supposed to be impartial but she is so right wing she is about as impartial as you can get!

In four years time everyone will have seen how destructive Reform is and the damage they will have done. Farage is more likely to become POTUS than British Prime Minister!! He will never be PM here.
comment in response to post
But nobody is surprised! He’s a fraud who thought Liz Truss’s budget was great!
comment in response to post
Ooops! That’s quite an admission! What I find amazing is the line that they “delivered on the democratic will of the people”. No, they didn’t! They took us out of the EU with lies and deception … many originating from their then leader, ably assisted by Farage! When will we rejoin? That is the will!

Glad to see the Deform vetting process is working so well!

You and me both!

Since Truss has lurched to the far right. She is now snivelling around Trump’s backside. She is almost certainly sniffing around Fartage. Fascism is on the rise. We just celebrated 80 years since VE Day but we are letting the very thing we defeated back … fascism. Dangerous times.

I voted to remain. I always knew it would be a disaster. The problem was that the public were lied to. People like Farage and Johnson lied. They promised panacea, they told the public it would be utopia. The public believed them. The public fell for the lies.
comment in response to post
He is wrong. He isn’t reading the room. He has completely missed the point. Britons have not moved on from Brexshit. Britons want to rejoin. In every poll the vast majority want to rejoin and recognise that whatever side they were on with the vote, it was a mistake and it is a disaster!
comment in response to post
Very well said! Maybe we should be reminding Fartage of that. He was spreading the utter lies all over the place.

I clearly misunderstood your intent and I am sorry. I took offence to what you said in my misunderstanding. I apologise.

Your statement that’s racists vote for racists implied that you viewed me as racist. I can assure you, I am anything but. I deplore racism in all forms.
comment in response to post
Good grief. Where on earth do these people come from? And where in hell should they live!
comment in response to post
Sadly, your predictions were 100% correct. They're all out today claiming to be patriotic and proud. I have had to remind them: Patriots fight fascism Patriots defend democracy They do neither!
comment in response to post
It is with such regret that I was dragged out of the EU by a few very loud liars and far right wingers who promised a panacea that the intelligent knew they could not deliver. As we celebrate 80 years of peace, we must watch the far right very carefully indeed, they are on the rise again.
comment in response to post
Very well said.
comment in response to post
I would ask how you conclude I am a racist, but I don't think you will have the intelligence to work it out.
comment in response to post
They’re so thick they don’t know it is not the Union Jack - that is reserved for shipping - it is the Union Flag. They just prove their racism every time they say anything. Why anyone would vote for them is beyond me!
comment in response to post
Democratic policy? That doesn’t suit Reform! It is an autocratic group led by a fascist. Nothing has changed since their dramatic election victory - they are still a bunch of racists led by a fascist.
comment in response to post
No thanks. They came fifth in Westminster.

Anderson is the lowest of low lifes! He should be an embarrassment, even to the ethically and morally vacuous Reform! He's a disgrace.
comment in response to post
That just shows how low the moral and ethical standards are in Reform. Despite Fartages protestations, their selection process remains low in the gutter.

Let us all hope that the UK government comes to its senses and decides that Trump’s golf course is the last place on earth The Open should be played on. Trump is a fascist, an aggressor, a liar and a traitor. We must NEVER acknowledge him and give him credibility.
comment in response to post
How right he is. A brilliant governor of the Bank of England and he will be a brilliant premier in Canada.
comment in response to post
Nobody is angry! The vast majority of the population now want closer ties with Europe - actually they want to rejoin. The Sexpress is just trying to find some far right wingers to support it because it is no longer relevant to the people. It’s a rag, it should be treated as a rag.
comment in response to post
We don’t want a softening, we want to rejoin. This government needs to read the room. The vast majority, even those who voted for Brexit, wants to rejoin. Labour need to stop relying on a vote nine years ago that was based on lies and deceit and grow a backbone and do what the UK needs and wants!
comment in response to post
Farage is a hateful little fascist who is out for one person and one person alone … himself. He doesn’t care about Britain, he doesn’t care about Clacton, he doesn’t care about people. Farage cares about only him. The more money he can take from gullible racists, the better for him!
comment in response to post
Reform won’t take Westminster, so it isn’t something to worry about. Despite what Reform would like us to believe, the UK, Scotland included, do not want a bunch of racists led by a fascist in power.
comment in response to post
Farage is a fascist. Fascists don’t do policy. They do populist statements that have zero detail behind them. He wants to win based purely on populist statements alone. His far right wing stance is nothing more than a cover for his racism and fascism.
comment in response to post
There is zero truth to anything 30p Lee says!

How big is your movement? What do you believe your chances of success are?
comment in response to post
There’s an awful lot of things that have to happen first: • Reform has to win a General Election • Farage has to become Prime Minister • Parliament has to vote to leave the ECHR • The UK has to serve notice on the ECHR that is leaving • The UK will be forced out of the Council for Europe Unlikely!
comment in response to post
I would never vote Reform for many reasons but removing the UK from the ECHR is near the top of my list. Since he would need an act of parliament to withdraw and it would mean the UK would leave the Council of Europe (consisting of 46 countries) which was formed after WWII. It will never happen.
comment in response to post
So do I!
comment in response to post
Good point!
comment in response to post
The facts don’t support the predictions though. Reform have only won 13 out of over 200 by-elections since the general election. They are extremely unlikely to do any better with the local council elections. Reform is all headlines and no policies.
comment in response to post
It should go far further than that and follow the will of the people. They should start negotiations for a return to the EU.
comment in response to post
Farage is a ‘headlines only’ kind of guy. He doesn’t have any detail behind any of them because populists don’t need facts. Populists say whatever they think will attract adulation and support in the certain knowledge that they will never have to answer to anyone on their accuracy.

I will never buy anything American again. I will never visit America again. I will never order anything from Amazon again. I will not use Facebook, I will not use Twitter, I seek out products that are non-American. That is what Trump has done to me … but I am only one.
