There’s an awful lot of things that have to happen first:
• Reform has to win a General Election
• Farage has to become Prime Minister
• Parliament has to vote to leave the ECHR
• The UK has to serve notice on the ECHR that is leaving
• The UK will be forced out of the Council for Europe

I would never vote Reform for many reasons but removing the UK from the ECHR is near the top of my list. Since he would need an act of parliament to withdraw and it would mean the UK would leave the Council of Europe (consisting of 46 countries) which was formed after WWII. It will never happen.

The facts don’t support the predictions though. Reform have only won 13 out of over 200 by-elections since the general election. They are extremely unlikely to do any better with the local council elections. Reform is all headlines and no policies.
