Info that stood out to me: Portland's parks levy has nearly doubled the Parks & Rec budget since its passage in 2020. (90M in 2019 to about 170M this yr). Which means, if voters outright reject a levy renewal in Nov, the city would need to cut 50% of parks staff (250 positions).

The tax is on any company that does business in Portland. Doesn't have to do with where execs live.
