Today I cleaned the bathroom, and did my regular Friday downstairs cleaning. Necessary to say that I have done things, as other that that today has been all doing what I’ve wanted - running and audiobook, tv, cooking, card games… #JudiciousJune #Day20

Spot the difference! (I am very excited about this)

Yesterday I had the fun of doing an update to one of the customer inspiration pages on my husband’s website, as he’d had an email from from a customer showing what they’d done (not the one in the thumbnail here - though that’s great too, it’s one I put there when I originally created these pages)

Life at the moment is mostly being spent making ice cubes. I make them, and then discover that someone/someone’s has gone and used them all!

I have managed to go for a run and get home well before 9am. Feeling very pleased with myself for that as, despite intentions last night, I was really thinking I couldn’t manage it. I was so tired and headachey. First coffee and the run have made me feel so much better. Second coffee brewing.

Two people close to me had exciting future news today (separately). It’s lovely to have people whose news I care about, and to think that I will get to hear all about the ongoing things #JudiciousJune #Day19

I’ve finally finished The Eustace Diamonds, & can’t decide which of the characters I dislike most. Also having to accept that Trollope is blatantly anti-semitic here, rather than commenting on antisemitism; which is disappointing. I know it’s 150 years old, but that doesn’t make it less prejudiced.

I was struggling to identify something for my daily post this evening, as I’ve just been running, supermarketing, clothes folding, reading, tv watching, plus lots of interneting. But these are good things to do on a day on leave, so they’re what I’ll post about #JudiciousJune #Day18

The trend is still in Bluesky's favour. X is still larger but very regularly Bluesky easily eclipses it in terms of research being shared. Linda Yaccarino claimed X had 600m users in April. Bluesky has 36m accounts created in total.

So excited for the love for Empower so far - members have access to some great on demand content which is growing by the day along with the live sessions to book from September onwards. Come and join us - empowerlibraryskills.com/memberships

Today I have been kind to myself, and let myself potter and rest a lot in the day (apart from running for twenty minutes!). I even nearly fell asleep on the settee in the afternoon! #JudiciousJune #Day17 Ooo, and my children found out today which parts they’ll have in next year’s school show!

What is common knowledge in your field, but shocks outsiders? You absolutely can lie via data & math & everything about how you present data is an argument for how to interpret/understand it Everything we know is founded on best guesses & analogies All technoscience is enmeshed with human values

Despite things generally actually being ok, I’ve got a real feeling of lack of competence and progression today. Aware of all the things I haven’t done, and have stalled on, over the past year or so (though aware of reasons for this too), as well as the little to dos that I’m avoiding.

Today I visited my parents, picked lots of redcurrants, had a nice lunch out and walked round lots of charity shops (not buying anything!). A good day, and then back home for a nice evening. #JudiciousJune #Day16
