Trump has no respect for hierarchy, decorum and only picks loyalists, not experienced professionals to fill positions in the White House & across government. Result is high turnover & incompetence=more of same from first term, more pronounced.

Sending National Guard and military troops without informing the governor is to completely ignore State/Federal separation.

Reversing Project 2025 DEI includes WOMEN in so-called gender appropriate roles? What are these? How about roles that are suited to a couple's unique relationship & abilities & not whether we are men or women? Women were formed from Adam's side, not his foot.

Trump/GOP want a "baby boom" while anti-abortion states have instituted boards ignoring OB/GYN as experts & creating their own boards to make decisions whether an abortion is warranted, frequently not in time for an abortion? Costing mothers' lives & OB/GYN to seek other medical disciplines.

This is a violation of the first amendment. Free speech ONLY applies to Trump/Republicans to defend
lies; i.e., "Biden was executed and doesn't exist, just robotic clones."

Obviously elected official opponents have more leeway in debates but should observe decorum. President cannot intimidate political donors or voters. Voting, donating choices is what makes US a democracy.

DJT addresses democratic voters as "lunatic or radical left" on holidays also=election interference; demonizes opposing voters. Have NEVER seen another president do this. Either wish everyone a happy holiday putting aside political differences or don't message at all.

I think Elon confirmed what we suspected all along. It's sort of like the Mueller report - redacted to show Trump's innocence. Argh. Those last 2 words don't belong in the same sentence.

Above all - our democracy allows us to use free speech to CONSTRUCTIVELY criticize our lawmakers. Being GOP or Democratic does not equal undying loyalty to an elected official if not representing the people. To make change, present/'prosecute' w/facts, leaving unproductive inflammatory rhetoric out.

Solution: Constituents should continue to let their representatives know they oppose "taxation without representation"l. File complaints with ethics watchdogs to file lawsuits. Non-GOP, should divvy up issues & conquer. If impeachment is the end result, work it impeccably & QUICKLY.

DJT promoting Project 2025 agenda comes with an everyone-gets-something supporting cast-GOP Congress/Senate support Trump & agenda = they retain power even if it doesn't serve their constituents. Judges don't get publicly excoriated if they rule in Trump's favor.

The presidency has consistently & voluminously boosted public garbage press; i.e., conspiracy theory Joe Biden is a robotic clone - to see what sticks. DJT has no ethic monitor. His goal is & always will be to enrich himself/his family.

Trump talks about eliminating "waste, fraud & abuse" - parade is definitely those. Huge crowds+military equipment, etc.=security risk. Saw varying costs $80M; $30M + $16M - they seem low. www.yahoo.com/news/true-co...

Call me jaded... It is scary to think what secrets Trump may have told Putin ... if Putin ever gets mad at Trump, US will get the 'Ukraine' treatment.

Nothing against plumbers and electricians - we will always need them! Country also needs higher level education for scientists, doctors, astronauts. Would we hire tradesmen to perform delicate surgeries? Inversely, would we hire a doctor to do major plumbing repairs = NEVER!

Based on RFK Jr banning medical journals provide updates on procedures or information about new viruses, etc. - will he now perform surgeries? Do lab work to confirm his opinions?
comment in response to

It's interesting RFK Jr's non-medical opinion supersedes medical expertise. Free speech no longer exists. Education is being censored; administration now banning medical books. These actions are by people who don't teach & don't practice medicine.

Puffins are so unique looking - they look like adorable walking, living cartoons. These birds have impressive skills: Diving up to 200 feet and then swimming underwater, stacking up fish by the tail in their mouths (they can carry up to small ten fish); living underground...

What corruption? Standards are set by: "Experts" emerge as evidence based problem solvers, recognized by fellows in agreement (medicine in this case). Govt usually pick best in field to help form policy; otherwise RFK JR happens-making decisions based on yesterday's conspiracy theory or his gut.

What gives RFK JR expert medical authority to call these publications unnecessary? It feels like the current administration wants to censor everything/everyone until there are no established standards to measure to measure quality, etc.; what will be left is chaos & confusion.
