Here is how Chuck Grassley describes the provision he put in the bill that prices out people/groups from being able to sue the Trump administration amid its rampant lawlessness.
(This is from an op/ed he published today.) www.foxnews.com/opinion/sen-...

"The rule of law matters," Grassley declares in his op-ed, right after defending the fact that he's trying to make public interest groups have to pay millions if not billions of dollars in order to sue the Trump admin for breaking laws.

Here's Emily Martin of the National Women’s Law Center on what's going on here.
"If this measure stays in the bill, only a billionaire would be able to get prompt relief from the courts when this administration breaks the law,” she said in a statement.

Most of the people who are fighting to cut Medicare and Medicaid and bring back pre-existing conditions have never had to rely on health insurance in their lives.
The mindset is "I don't care; I'll still get what I want."

Trump railed against covid science and fought the vaccines and even masking every step of the way, but he still got to benefit from the absolute pinnacle of care after the GOP insisted on breathing germs into each other's faces. He always assumes he'll still get to do that.

Yes, killing research funding cripples universities now. It destroys jobs in presumably liberal areas now.
But nobody gets to benefit from the latest cancer research if that cancer research doesn't happen.

It's a perfect little detail. And equally delightful whether Arby's knew about it or whether they didn't.
