A company could easily use the argument that these additional expenses or the expected additional health issues of older people are affecting the productivity of an employee or their impact on a company's bottom line. I am not arguing that this is a good thing, but a possible argument in court.

By that logic it is easy to argue that a person in a wheelchair can be generally passed over an equally qualified non-disabeled person, because the company needs to install and maintain special accomodations. Same goes for veterans, who are likely older than equally experienced workers.

More likely that we will also see Trump in camo within two weeks tops.

I have the feeling that this should be more of a headline. Threatening regulatory agencies - if successful - will likely dissuade a large number of investigations targeting the rich and powerful. Those few that remain, that is.

Trump hiding from public appearances? More likely, his mech suit will have a Twitter integration that live tweets his mechanised bowl movements

Wasn't the point of the video that the Snyder Cut existed, but not in the form that many appeared to expect - as something that can be just released and watched like a movie. The fact that the final release took still $70 million, over a year and additional shots seems to support that.

To be fair: There is a lot of stuff on Twitter that I don't know because it is just made-up stuff to farm engagement.

So... No source? Attribution radicalization to desensitization when the same people were literally starving is a hypothesis that needs a bit more backing.

I am not a historian. If you are talking about soliders, sure. If by "a lot" you also mean the general populus, I would ask for a source. I learned about this "Dolchstoßlegende" that implies otherwise.

I think we just have to agree that we disagree. For me, this evidence is an important part of the context as it removes any ground for plausible deniability. Looking into mybown history has not desensitized be over the past decades, while not doing that in school did.

Sure, nobody should vote for trump. Has this cartoon come up a bad time? Arguably. Does this otherwise invalidate the underlying hypocrisy of her statement and is the comic itself evidence of some kind of "brain rott" as implied by the comment? No.

Yes, pictures are, indeed, never accompanied by other descriptive media that provides valuable context.

As a native german, I learned a lot of numbers in school and I knew that those were lives. I saw the usual pictures of camps.
But visiting those camps, hearing the story of their lives and seeing evidence of how those lives ended turns numbers into people again.

I am actually fine with legendary actions - in particular with larger groups. It still allows for epic fights with one minionless baddie that are still somewhat agile.
