I wish our local FedEx drivers would stop lying to us, telling us that this week's food order was not delivered because "nobody was home, or the business was closed". You think we don't have a doorbell camera? You ran out of delivery time and skipped. You never even entered our neighbourhood. Liar.

This is a correct take, and @blowdart.me should make sure the MVP Summit planning team pay close attention.

I see what you did there.

Brovorce.

Whoever writes the Amazon search algorithm should probably learn that "modulator" is not a synonym of "demodulator".

Rift Widens Between Elon Musk, Anyone Who Ever Met Him

We've made such great progress in Artificial Intelligence since the 1960s, that developments which were only 20 years into the future are now as close as 5 years into the future.

I'm kind of with Raspberry Pi on this one. Not that "kids should write code", but that "kids should learn how to develop". Being a developer is a hell of a lot more than programming, which is why, back in the day, the two were different jobs. Solving problems is a valuable skill that LLM can't do.

I hate/love open protocols with a fiery passion. My irritation today? My Samsung TV can see my Windows Media Server using DLNA. It can browse the videos and play them. But when I turn the TV off and back on again, it has no idea where I'd got to. Is it Microsoft or Samsung I yell at? Or both?

But how can this be? Hasn't Benioff told the world repeatedly that the only way work can happen is to have people meeting people in offices? Yet here he is, not only saying we should "have a Slack teammate" that we only ever communicate with electronically, but also that he can't hire enough people.

About time. I only suggested this at every MVP Summit I went to, and numerous other occasions in between.

I'm prepared to be proven wrong, but I think it's no longer possible to perform a subdomain takeover on a CNAME pointing to an Azure Front Door. Old SKUs (<yourdomain>.azurefd.net) are disallowed, and new SKUs (<yourdomain>-<hash>.a01-3/z01-3.azurefd.net) require the hash, which requires ownership.

If there's ever a document that needed an AI to TLDR it, it's this one.

There is a handy button in Notepad's settings to turn Copilot off.
