Very subtle colour variation that is hard to capture in a photo. I like it and it's what I was aiming for. I wanted to see how the yarn would look knit on it's own, so the bottom half of the swatch is with Alpaca Whisper and the upper half is without.

Tour de Fleece goals:
1: Your life is absolute shit. Take this time to have fun. You're allowed.
2: Spin that sweater's quantity of fluff and have fun doing it, dammit.
3: You got this. Let's hope my EEW6.1 holds up to the challenge.

This is my first spindle spun yarn. We all started the same way. π
Keep going. It gets better! π

What I noticed was when Carney addressed strongly about Canada never being for sale and Trump looking irritated. Then with the suaveness of a thousand trotting Arabian horses immediately injected how "Trump has revitalized..." You then see the red in Trump's face soften back to his orange glow.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I hope everything works out for the best. I have a feeling we're all in for a rough ride for the next little while.

I only have my sick mother and my sister. I don't speak to my brother. That's it. I thought you were my family, but you see me as an outsider. It's really demoralizing.

First that came to mind was Jacob wool. Absolutely would need to spin woolen for this type of project. It will make it lighter.

It is fun, but different because I just have to let the slubs be slubs. π A little warning that the Etsy listing shows this tweed as a white base. I didn't get what I was expecting, but I wasn't mad about it, either. www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1...

I always have a sweater and socks on the needles. I won't hesitate to cast on a cowl or hat, but I must finish those projects before casting on another sweater, socks, cowl, hat, etc...

Always good to be prepared. I bought an extra motor and circuit board for my EEW 6.1 because I knew the tariff thing would make it difficult if I waited. So glad I did.

Oh, I would love a Daedalus anything. π
I suppose it's part of any craft to own many various tools to suit ones fancy at any one time. I've eyed support spindles, too. π€

Thank you. After a soak it bloomed beautifully and was perfectly balanced. Unusual for me as I tend to under ply. So glad I didn't have to run it through my wheel again.

It's obvious someone wrote this for Trump. Never have I heard Trump say the word egregious. π€

π§ This sucks so much! I never would have imagined this could happen to pineapple fibre. Terrible way to learn. I feel for you.
