My FIL told us that he and his retirement community (who are mostly over 80yo and require walkers or wheelchairs) were out protesting with signs that said "Save Our Social Security". I'm proud of them, but this is such sad state of affairs.

Last year, Illinois abolished requiring prior authorization for inpatient mental health care — and now, we're extending it to outpatient care. Patients and their doctors should be in control of decisions about their care, not insurance companies.
