Does anyone in my network know whether, if you are subject to a Transparency Order preventing you from saying you are involved in a Court of Protection case, you are in contempt of court if you contact your MP, Member of Senedd etc to highlight your case? @openjusticecop.bsky.social

David vs Goliath. That's how @doccmartin.bsky.social describes this mum representing herself in court. But maybe she should have asked for a judicial review instead. Can anyone write a blog for us about judicial review? @openjusticecop.bsky.social openjusticecourtofprotection.org/2025/05/19/u...

I'm watching this, from the launch conference of the RCP Guidance on Prolonged Disorders and Consciousness, and wondering what's gone wrong as I blog a case involving a Trust that completely ignored the guidelines and left Ps partner and birth family in limbo www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_Uq...

I don’t want to say too much about this blog post because I’m worried about inadvertently breaching the TO.

Journalists are being blocked from entering a London youth court, by a team of security guards, a list caller, and a legal adviser. One reporter has been made to ‘sign in’ twice already. For no obvious reason. There’s a security guard who is particularly adamant it’s his job to keep us out

I observed this hearing on 19th March and wrote this blog. I could see how intent McKendrick J was on finding P - and her mum, missing for two years. Will mum attend the next hearing, this Friday 28th March? I plan to observe and find out.

Feeling foolish and frustrated: How I failed to observe an RCJ hearing due to an uncorrected listing error By @amandaaphill.bsky.social openjusticecourtofprotection.org/2025/03/23/f...

Hello @hmctsgovuk.bsky.social in Exeter. Please remember to include the names of public bodies (like Devon County Council) in the Courtel/CourtServe lists. It's important for transparency! #OpenJustice #NotSecretCourts

This transparency order made by DJ Drayson in Birmingham on 20 December 2024 says we can be found in contempt of court and sent to prison if we name the local authority in this deprivation of liberty case. It's probably a mistake. But we'll have to fill in a COP 9 to get it changed...😦
