One day I’ll work out what I talk about. Some green stuff, some nature, some cities, some wonkish stuff.

Tran’t is clearly the contraction of trulyn’t, in that case.

I mean, from the picture, they should be keeping the steering wheel in that glovebox.

I mean, the study calls them Fæcal Microbial Transplant (FMT) pills, so that's their official word.

This is, uh, not a hugely city friendly vehicle, but the CEO here's talking about scaling up production from fibre composites to sheet metal, which I think is pretty interesting. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OgN...

This is the one local to me. (Sorry, couldn't find it on streetview, might go out and look for it later*, though) www.alamy.com/stock-photo-... *I mean, it's a nice walk.

Yep, central government absolutely needs to be load sharing social care and just is not. What is DHSC for?

Wait, I misread! Where can I buy a new door at 9:30 on a Sunday? Open the door _while holding_ a chainsaw.

Oh yeah, I could remember its existence, I just couldn’t recall how it went. (And sorry, I’m not sure what my point was, except maybe nostalgia for having cared about the charts)

Of those 3, I didn’t have to look any up, and the only one I can’t call to mind is the Hale and Pace one.

Oh yeah, but randomly dunking on random male actors is less of a bad look for me.

Also, Rotherhithe should absolutely be that, too.

Jack Black?!!

Why "or", not "and"?

Yep, it's absolutely lethal.

Yes it's a complicated one - but the campaign to remove the statue due to its association with the slave trade had been going on for years. I didn't think at the time that it would lead to mass statue felling and general iconaclism and it hasn't.

I was just trying to find out how much they spent not doing it. The public inquiry into it cost £2.6million, for starters. www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/reveale...

I have to pay to get the bus there.

OK, I've been wondering what the best tune to do that with is, and I think you're right, that's it.

I was hit by a close passing car* in November while on a hire scooter. I got so much unsolicited advice about what I was doing wrong About 3 holes of my defensive riding against DGAF/not looking Swiss Cheese had lined up en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss_c... *well, a 2.5 ton petrol vehicle 2.22m wide

France got down to a minimum of 3, which I think would be the best number for ripping up, and then replacing en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trams_i...

Or that we'd gone down to a nadir of 3 and then back up to 28 in my lifetime.

Oh but those Keith Haring figures are great.

And after we are dead? After Gaza is a crater and half the disabled population died way too early for no reason, after trans people are slaughtered, and you still have your fucking jobs? You and the corporate media will reset the narrative to "no one knew," as always. Fuck you. We see it clearly.

We see SO clearly how this day could have been the beginning of total ruin of this duning kruger fascist fever dream, and we see you refuse to engage with any of it. Of course we are making jokes. None of US are ignoring the moment: YOU are. WE are the ones who are going to die. It's gallows humor

There are a few articles around showing that the world shipping could reduce by 40% with an energy transition to renewables, as that is the percentage carrying fossil fuels. I also like the analogy of how much 'power' is being transported....
