The more he's centered in coverage as the (or a) primary stochastic vector of this violence the better. Terry Moran's firing is just the latest preemptive surrender of hope for such coverage from the already limited pool he's deigned to allow in his proximity.

The closer the proximity to the chair that JD's afforded, the faster Elon and Peter Thiel have JD topple the chair Pope Francis style.

As the reporting about his hectoring Hunter for the scoop on Beau's death, and the subsequent Super Bowl confrontation bear out, there's been bad blood between Jake and the family dating back years. He comes off as pissed at himself that he missed his chance to singularly end Joe's career.

I think it's not even his failure to show it—inasmuch as his narcissism prevents such experiences of genuine human empathy—but that he petulantly refuses to even fake it. So, maybe: "Wounded narcissist petulantly refuses to even fake most basic human decency."

Big blind trust energy there, Donny!

I mean, sure, it IS brain worms, but they're brain worms both Mark and his former eXile colleague seem to've caught concomitantly as late 90's sex pests most assuredly not getting compromised by Russian security services.

If Slovenian softcore can land Melania an Einstein visa, lord if that produce toss doesn't merit full and immediate citizenship for that entire field crew.

When you add what we can see of her facial expression and the curved right hand placed on her sternum, I think that's very close to the whole of what we can make of her body language right here.

You also have compulsory voting, which is my A1 bastion of how democracies ought reframe voting as civic responsibility, as opposed to personal shopping trip.

My Philly Irish Catholic Dad was there in the mid-60s, though for just about a year or so. Dropped out and got drafted. Miraculously managed to steer clear of 'Nam, but thanked not a nun. Got borned again. We still always cheered on the Wildcats.

Honestly, @governorwalz.mn.gov is probably lucky on that front. He's busy grieving a friend, and if past is prologue (and/or a narcissistic tiger never changes his stripes), and POTUS actually got him on the horn, he'd probably just try to extort him.

It's not even a WAS at this point. That memo and the campaign of disinformation surrounding it have continued to be a consistent and ongoing piece of committee business/talking points throughout the current congressional session.

The potential NAR connection makes monitoring Hegseth's response, in particular, all the more imperative.

Dealmaking with Trump has always been code for extortion. As with Mayor Adams (like Zelenskyy before him), it's entirely predictable that Trump would have attempted to forcibly establish leverage (illegally impounded federal funds, no doubt) to compel Newsom's compliance with his immigration aims.

Not that often you might be legally compelled to release a loathsome third party (who just so happens to be POTUS) likely shit talking your ex/his pending nominee to be Greek ambassador amongst other more readily impeachable 'perfect phone call' conduct.

The White House is demanding that ICE get deportations up, and ordering any career law enforcement who objects to get the hell out of the way. The head of ICE’s Enforcement and Removal operations apparently resigned rather than obey an order to fire ICE officers who weren’t hitting arrest quotas!
