I'm guessing the poster is trying to point to the boyfriend who didn't die and they weren't able to get him on anything despite the fact he (may have) shot at the police. It's still a bad point because obv but I'm guessing that's what the poster was going for.

Maybe it's your kegerator

It's really hard to say "hey, this guy you liked died way sooner because he was stupid." It's sad. It's easier to just yada yada that part of the story. I get it.

It's because self-identity is one of the most powerful drugs on the planet. And once you set your self-identity you will do literally anything to not change it.

I don't think enough people know that's why Steve Jobs died. People have been afraid to call him on it because he was so well liked.

And it's people still posting on twitter!!! People posting on twitter think everyone else is doing protesting op sec wrong lolololol.

Uh happy father's day

I can tell by your reaction it's been a few years since you were raising your kids. Were you around any tiny humans in the last 3 days?

Neither of those personality types is better than the other but teams need both types.

Everyone knows about managing upwards right? So a big step in that is identifying what kind of boss you have. Is your boss an idea guy? You gotta be the one who turns that into actionable items. Fill in your bosses weaknesses. Does your boss struggle with big vision stuff? Give them crazy ideas.

Uh this isn't how you ref a foul. Body contact comes before hand contact most of the time for fouls near the rim. They don't become flagrant just because the attempt at the ball is later.
comment in response to post
Yeah I think it's probably still a foul but the only reason it's flagrant is the altercation afterwards. The reason it looks so rough is just Obi is a *much* bigger dude.
comment in response to post
I can't say with absolute certainty but the ball moves right as Obi's arm comes across, so it sure looks like contact to me. But if it comes close enough that we're debating it, then it's a legitimate defensive play. Hard contact is part of NBA basketball and he's got 50lbs on Caruso.
comment in response to post
I don't have an issue with the call, because it led to an altercation and that's allowed to factor into the call. But also, he makes contact with the ball on the play so it's a legitimate basketball play which means it's usually not going to be called flagrant. There's the main criteria here.

They haven't fully ignored anything yet. They are playing word games, and they keep putting it back into the courts but they will run out of games. And each time they do this the judiciary gets less and less favorable to their nonsense.

Fuck yeah, Ms Wagner!

What I am saying here, is there is a space for mediocre TV and it's current being filled by mediocre TV that *costs a lot more to make.* And the part in astrix is what I would expect to change.

I don't know, I like garbage fiction a lot and it absolutely has to be better than the Magicians was. I will still watch reruns of law and order SVU at night sometimes.
comment in response to post
Don't you think there's some flexibility here? I *make time* for some shows.
comment in response to post
15-20% in this country believe in bigfoot. I wouldn't think too deeply about propaganda here.
comment in response to post
I would rather a familiar show get a mediocre ending than start watching yet another new show that is going to be canceled halfway through the story. I'm so frustrated with that.

My 11yo smells SO BAD. All the time. And it's 100% because she lives in filth.

Yeah I found that sending them out for a full sharpening once a year meant the sharpening company was taking enough metal off that there was visible shortening of the knife. I ended up getting this thing and use it ~2-3 times a year and hone 2-3 times a week and never had an issue since.

I want to watch a 4th season of Wheel of Time. A 2nd season of Scavengers Reign. A 3rd season of Shadow and Bone. Instead I watched like 6 seasons of the Magicians. Which was NOT GOOD.
comment in response to post
Sure there are definitely things that don't compare here, right? Like I don't need 2 houses but I need more than one show to watch. But the idea is, I watch shows that are like 70% of what I actually want to watch. Because what I actually want is in scarce supply.

I would get the stuff that's all or mostly lye. It's usually called like "liquid heat" it comes with a ton of warning labels. Or get on Amazon and buy 100% lye granules (food grade if you might make pretzels or olives!!!).
comment in response to post
Is there? Is there an oversupply of high quality entertainment? It's like saying there's a lot of houses, ok but are they where people want to live?

It's usually babies :( But also hawks have babies too and they gotta eat.

At my age? Would be nice to have someone interested in my genitals tbh.
comment in response to post
Usually when the places charge this much they are charging you $150 for the actual service and $100 for the 1 year guarantee that it will not clog again or they will come back for free and fix it. Have you tried pouring lye down it? That fixes everything except kitchen sinks nearly all of the time.
comment in response to post
I guess that depends on how much you like my posts.

Which is to say, you definitely murdered baby geese.
comment in response to post
They travel in flocks when they have juveniles. The juveniles look like adults by their first winter. So it depends a little on how flexible we're being with the word "baby" but I just wanted to start drama 😶

I do think "but they broke the rules" is an extremely compelling argument to a lot of Americans. We are a nation of rule followers, or at least we understand the idea that not following rules has consequences. But when someone didn't make an intentional choice to break the rules it's different.

I think it hinges on empathy. Like, can the audience imagine this happening to them. If it's someone who crossed the border illegally or overstayed a visa then I agree with you. If it's someone who discovers at 35 their parents brought them illegally at 1yo I think it changes the response.
