Can we learn anything from an unedifying few days?
Football is crazily emotional but let's look bigger picture. Everyone automatically takes a side in these events, but let's demand football stakeholders work together for a better version of best practice re. VAR, PGMOL and media reaction.

I was worried in the beginning of the season that we'd have trouble finding minutes for certain players.
What a dope I was.

I kind of stopped hanging out on bsky a year ago because most posts were about bluesky. Ha. I'm sure it will become more cesspool the more folks join though. Only so many nice people in the world.

Probably not in the way you’d like.

I would be happy with a Prem trophy lift or a Treble.
The expectation of “and” doesn’t come until the following season.

And it’s generally so easy to accomplish. Why wouldn’t we look out for each other especially for minimal inconvenience?
Somehow I’ve ended up following a bunch of folks with limited sight on this app and just gotten exposed to how impactful adding a photo tag is. Now that I know I’ll always do it!

Jealous! We were in London last year, but no match during our time there.

My son and I will be at the NY Arsenal supporter event and at the match. It will be our first match in person! Hoping to meet some of the Disco crowd with ArsenalVision, too.

The first time I visited I didn’t like it. I think it felt dead. But I went back after a long spell and fell in love. Now I yearn for it.

Last time I wore one out I had two people comment. I was sick but needed to go run errands.
After I said that each was disarmed. But I don’t know why I needed to explain in the first place.

My first draft would be: “I don’t know how the heck we didn’t think of this proactively. Big mess up. Truly sorry. We will try to be better.”

Having been in a lot of crisis comms rooms, it’s amazing how long it takes sometimes to get it right.
But the messages that take the longest are often the least satisfying.
Perhaps I’m giving too much benefit of the doubt, but I believe these are generally good people who missed an obvious step.

They’re trying so hard. At what, I’m not positive. But they’re definitely trying.

For true news reporting, I agree. I do think there are some powerful well reported essays. But journalism somehow became pseudo fame — and social media fueled that.

Bad form to link the bird place I’m guessing but reporting out that said they’ll be announced this week and will be part of the USA tour.
