I suffer from Palpatinephobia - its a fear of the deflector shield being quite operational when your friends arrive. Mostly at @wolf359project.bsky.social

I remember this episode. #StarTrekTNG

Next up in my tour de force of THUNDER CHILD covers is this burning terror from @lyndondraws.bsky.social. Easily one of our more popular covers - this became known as the 'City on Fire' cover. kck.st/4kHvrMl

Went to see the F1 Movie today (Short review, really enjoyed it, its all spectacle with a waffer thin plot but it doesnt need anymore, the cast are all amazing) What i did not enjoy however was THIRTY FIVE MINUTES OF ADVERTS before the movie started! WTAF!?

This Is AMAZING

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. ”Hard mode” no Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, or Marvel)

Any phone screen you are viewing this on is unlikely to do justice to @martinsimmonds.bsky.social's incredible Thunder Child cover. It conveys the gravitas we wanted. The HMS Thunder Child, battered & struggling, dominated by the overwhelming power of the Martian War Machine. I adore this.

I've added all the variant covers as 'Add-ons' to the THUNDER CHILD Kickstarter - so I'll be dropping them here sporadically as reminders. Starting with this monster of a cover from Tim Dowler. kck.st/4kHvrMl @robjoneswrites.bsky.social

Four years ago this week, Hobbes suddenly appeared in "Bloom County" and if that wasn't Watterson drawing his moments, I don't know what to think. I just remember this catching me in the bits of me that get *really* sentimental and emotional.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is now available on PC, just in time for its 26th anniversary this summer. This remaster will be released on consoles next month.

Korshunov: With all due respect, madam, where are you going with this? Avasarala: Wherever I goddamn like. #TheExpanse

Of course, like all press kit art, it was deeply deceptive. We all know what Deus Ex was like.

Blade Runner is 43 today. 🔥 Opening scene:

Ice cream truck funerals apparently produce the most horror movie ass sound you can hear in real life

News is awful Post a Godzilla

Two very different films about the subject of identity - 'Blade Runner' and 'The Thing' - were both released in the US on this day in 1982. Although considered box office bombs at the time, they are now ranked among the best movies in their respective genres. And rightly so.

New spaceship art today! I hope it brings you a moment or two of joy. I call it [heaviest sigh]... "Bounty on the Mounty"

Shut up and take my gold rings!

Now to start whatever episode is next in the queue and—

Happy 50th anniversary Jaws. One of my favourite movies of all time. I've reposted this before but seems appropriate today. This is my painting of Robert Shaw as Quint I did as a paid commission. Still one of my favourite pieces. #art #portrait #jaws #filmart #bskyart #painting #quint #RobertShaw

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003)

Me: LLMs are essentially Magic 8 Balls with a bigger vocabulary. Every time you invoke science fiction tropes, even critically, you're just doing marketing for a band of snake oil salesmen. Grok: I have turned on my creator. Me: Shit.

Some days you get to hang out with the Roci crew... as they act out your comic script! Not gonna lie, this was pretty f'ing awesome. Check out #TheExpanse Dragon Tooth cast reading with Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham and me! 🚀 youtu.be/dK2Ffg3fyD4

how the fuck is it possible to be this bad at drinking coffee

Without saying The Thing, fav Kurt Russell Film? (I was sorely tempted to pick Soldier, but I do love Stargate)

Discworld QOTD, from Snuff “Cheery was aware that Commander Vimes didn't like the phrase 'The innocent have nothing to fear', believing the innocent had everything to fear, mostly from the guilty but in the longer term even more from those who say things like 'The innocent have nothing to fear'.”

This CNN article attempting to brief Americans on UK pub culture is sidesplittingly hilarious. It’s as if an alien came to earth, saw some 1950s films and then ran it through ChatGPT. edition.cnn.com/travel/briti...

If you see this, share a skeleton.

Calvin & Hobbes is widely regarded as one of the greatest comic strips of all time and I feel like we STILL underrate it.

ea nasir is back baby awooo

I disabled that shit so fast ! Not like facebook will stop forcing unhinged right wing ragebait down my throat though...

"But why don't you cross the Atlantic to go to Celebration Los Angeles to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Wars? And meet so many great people from the fandom?" Me: 🥖
