The US courts have said that the federalisation of the national guard in California is illegal, and Posse Comitatus says marines can’t be deployed inside the US. Can California order the LAPD and National Guard to arrest the marines? My US law stops at The West Wing so be gentle.

Listening to #r4today doing a puff piece on the latest Brad Pitt F1 film. Is it just me who see an excessive, all pervasive marketing campaign for a film and assumes it’s a desperate attempt to get some payback on a terrible film?

Watching California National Guard advancing on protesters holding riot shields and with automatic weapons across their chests. They seem badly trained so this looks like a horrendous approach. Turning it off before someone reaches through and pulls a trigger.
