Smart plan. We don't want unused choices or 'exhausted ballots' to contribute to a Cuomo victory. In 2021, Adams won by around 7k votes while about 140,000 ballots end up exhausted.

Did they leave out the quotation marks around the word 'empower'?

Q: To whom does the First Amendment apply? Do #undocumented immigrants have the five freedoms? #Scalia: Oh I think so. I think anybody who's present in the United States has protections under the United States #Constitution.

An often overlooked detail: in 2019, CB got 44.93% of all properly marked ballots (including exhausted ballots). Then 44.97% opposed the recall in 2022. He could've lost a recall the same day he was elected.

Why would Putin sign a deal when he knows Trump's resolve / interest in supporting Ukraine is near gone? The U.S. is not negotiating from a place of strength but a desire to quit.

From a 2016 story: [I]t wasn't until Trump learned that Cohn had been diagnosed with AIDS that he decided to sever his ties with his mentor. "Donald found out about it and just dropped him like a hot potato," Cohn's longtime secretary Susan Bell said.

Yes, EM's self-centered view of what constitutes waste is maddening. From an environmental policy perspective, though, this is encouraging: "It appears that Americans, including Republicans, have gotten used to the idea of using tax credits to promote clean energy, energy efficiency and EVs."

"The Army is in early discussions about potentially adding a parade to the Army’s 250th birthday festival, which is being held June 14, according to a defense official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the discussions are ongoing and no decisions have been made."

This is why we'll see more heavily produced boarder/deportation stunts designed to generate attention/outrage. Challenges must be filed in court, but, politically, given where public opinion is (sadly), after each incident the DT admin should be asked: how will this bring prices down?

It doesn't seem fair to say Joe's new to endorse Medicare for All. He's been on board with socialized medicine for a while (see 6-year-old clip). But, yes, any popular discussion of the topic is welcomed!

When DT made clear U.S. government support for Ukraine was near over, we were no longer negotiating from a position of strength. The U.S. is now working from a desire to quit. Why should Russia stop short of Kyiv?

As you note, DT's effort to suspend the U.S. refugee program is currently on hold. I wonder how that case will impact the WH's interest in providing humanitarian relief to Afrikaners who are victims of ‘’unjust racial discrimination'' and resettling them in the U.S.

DT needs a sash and some medals. He looks too plain / not presidential next to that guy.

Look forward to more outlandish deportations. It's the only issue DT & co. are winning. They'd rather see headlines about defying court orders than address inflation, tariffs, etc. The question to every boarder-related act (illegal or not) should be: will that bring prices down?

It's just enormously important to understand that the goal of this tariff policy isn't to raise money or to increase manufacturing in the United States. The goal is to make some of the nation's largest companies subject to Trump's personal discretion and dependent on his favor.
