I think that if this were to happen and Vance became POTUS he actually would carry out trumps wishes. He would need to win over MAGA because he isn’t as charismatic as DFOTUS. MAGA would definitely want retaliation for it. They would just pick someone to blame and kill them to appease MAGA.
