Want to share the brick arches that HK protesters used. These are simple traps to trip up police and vehicles. The HK protesters would often dig the bricks out of sidewalks. The rope/string would trip up police. When vehicles hit them, the top brick fell, leaving a buttress that jammed wheels.

BTW if we have worked together on something and our project isn't there: I limited myself to 16 slots to not drown visitors. Projects are selected for breadth of work and I tried to avoid redundant experience. Tons of really cool projects didn't make it. Sorry.

Still looking for a CRT to play Capcom vs SNK2 on it and beholding all the animations and characters in their non-pixelated glory.

I also find custom rooms somewhat engaging in SF6, because of the narrative emerging from a long series of matches. Even macthed witha superior player, just squeezing out the occsional win can feel great there.

Does the 3v3 have a progression system? (I played strive on game pass for a while but have no longer access to it) I think it's a great party mode. SF6 with friends also works killer becasue the layer of personal relationships between players kinda adds what random casual matchmaking is missing.

So, thank you for the tips and encouragemnt, but this is not what this threat is about.

Also just in case: I am a veteran fighting game player and also game developer, I'm not looking for help with getting out of a plateau here personally. I get how that works. I just disagree that this should be the only route to any sort of progression through onine play.

Yeah, I get it. But we are not arguing "plateau yes no?" here, we are arguing "plateau, when?" I appreciate the community effect of mentoring and resource sharing and all that.. ..but I am arguing for a rethinking of online casual to engage players, no matter how they just want to keep playing.

Just rewarding players for participating is missing the point. (Not against it, but it is not engaging.)

Yes, also you progress through battle pass and the kudos thingy in SF6 just by playing... it's not a reward for winning. Winning in casual remains unincentivised. You either win consistently in ranked or you get left behind. There is no occasioal winning and no grinding.

I know you try to be encouraging. But you are simply proving my point by being the exact sort of player traditional ranked works for, while at the same time dismissing other player types who would love to stay engaged in online play, track wins there, without the pressure of ranked.

I call it a "plateau" specifically becasue it ends there. I have reached that plateau by extensive study, labbing and practice. But eventually you will be outmatched via ranked. Being like " get better, ey" is patronizing.
