I can't stop thinking about what my friends went through and what is coming for the US. Syria may now find some stability, but the human cost is terrible. Never mind Gaza, I can't process it.
What will the US have to endure? Kids are already being kidnapped. People are being inhumanely detained.

Why aren't they going after Russia or Israel like they're going after California?

(3) Yet the extremist government of Netanyahu has kidnapped her. This means she and the other humanitarian activists are in danger, as are the hundreds of thousands of starving citizens of Gaza.

Greta's actions are fully in accordance with international maritime, humanitarian, and human rights law.

"Brain chemistry" ffs. He doesn't have a clue about any of the nonsense he spouts (like "having Asperger's" (sic)) , and he doesn't give a f either.

I'm a US citizen with EU residency but will not be seeing my mom for her 80th birthday. I've published articles using my real name and posted all kinds of things about social justice. And I rely on blood pressure medications that I can't afford to skip.

This is incredible, thank you so much. I've just started working in disability peer counseling and see how few people get the help we need.
We should all stand up for each other, before it's too late.

Just having made it this far is a huge achievement for many of us!

Thank you for standing up!
Any Jewish academic or artist who makes these kinds of statements has been cancelled here in Germany. The final eyewitnesses are passing away and the world seems to have forgotten what #neveragain #niewieder actually means

We're all human and products of our context. Some of us had access to education and were able to develop. Some, like my teen, have been punished and excluded by a society bent on conformity. Without respect for humanity and difference, oppression will continue.

Es fehlt aber jegliche Menschlichkeit. Empathie, kritisches Denken, und Gerechtigkeit können diese Algorithmen nicht schaffen, egal wie viel Plagiat und Energie dahinter geschmissen wird.

Yeah exactly. Orphans ready made for private armies.
Starhawk's dystopian novel The Fifth Sacred Thing has a touching characterization of this.

Looking at what the EU has proposed on the use of AI makes my brain shut down, and I have a master's degree. Going to have to dig deep to get any clearer answer than "some laws are proposed."
But mental health care in Germany is outdated. Thus calls for "innovation" and "removing human emotion."

Not sure what state she's in or what she practices, and I'm not sure it's actually illegal here. Germany is racing to "innovate" and "digitalize" so it may actually be policy soon for all I know because it saves money.
