I like my mutuals, we are pals.
I’m a lovely man who works as a software engineer in California. Extremely mystical.

Okay fine but it’s still okay to spoil stories that are from the 20th century, to stimulate interest. If you tell me one of the most interesting parts, I’m more likely to be interested in a game which is otherwise diminishing in relevance by the passing of time

Therefore in the real world, we
1. Resist labeling humans as villains without strict rules for evidence
2. Resist the ultimate punishment for any villain unless absolutely necessary
3. Limit punishment to only the most involved in the villainy
4. Make amends for the higher order consequences

Alas, the supervillain, being a human in the world, cannot be slain without causing collateral damage—he has servants to the ends of the earth who labor and benefit from his benefaction. They are not evil unless every single human is evil (don’t @ me).

If you accept collateral damage, you are not heroic. Depending on how much collateral damage you cause, or accept, or fail to make amends for, you might be able to retain heroic status or you might just become a villain yourself.

That’s a silly thing to say, and I mean that it is super-villainy—it’s one of the things that gives us permission to hate without limit.
Except, the limit of what and whom we hate. It has to be the actual perpetrator of the villainy.

If everyone finds and follows their directive, there’s coverage for all the necessary things, just exactly like in Gallavants

What’s special about me is I don’t have a pragmatic universal solution to all social ills, but instead I have a directive which allows me to easily choose a very good thing out of other good things without hesitation.

The parade today by contrast moves west to east, outside to in. It starts at the Pentagon not Arlington National Cemetary. It follows the symbolic route of troops entering to quell or occupy the city, not leaving with love and thanks. 8/

If you produce a revolution, you are forcing millions of people into a state that would make your typical mom nostalgic for mere thrownness. People like order, authority, and compartmentalization.

There can’t be an anarchist revolution because the vast majority of people don’t want to live in an anarchist society, no, even if you manage to explain to them what it is. Anarchist societies require WAY MORE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT than current democracies.

This is the most bland, idiotic writing I’ve read in a long time. There’s nothing subversive or angry in any of it. The chants are extremely basic. The whole “check out this other article where we did the opposite” is such click fodder. These should have been one article. What the hell.

ok so you know the rubber hand illusion? like, just as an example of how easy it is to manipulate the mind's body map? i have a theory that you could show someone a rendering of their body from a 3rd person pov, animate touches happening that correspond to real stimuli, and slowly unfold the render.
