The hot take I'm least interested in now is "Look at this hypocritical politician, who railed against this very thing a year ago!!!" First, it's one of their defining characteristics, not a newsflash, Cronkite. Second, their hypocrisy is the least dangerous and relevant of what they're now doing.

To be clear, this is what an insurrection looks like:

At least, that's what we think he said. No one ever really knows for sure unless they speak fluent 62-IQ mushmouth gibberish.

If an attorney knows their client will perjure themselves and still puts them on the stand, they may be disbarred and lose their careers. When Sunday "news" show hosts do it with guests, they get paid a lot of money and unironically call it journalism.

When the White House and its eager Hill lackeys use "riot"—unchallenged by so-called journalists—remember that those liars call peaceful, constitutionally protected protests such as those on the left "mob riots" and the deadly, treasonous attack on the right "tourists welcomed to tour the Capitol."

The explicit purpose of network media is to establish the government’s narrative as the default as soon as possible by having the fascist party represented in a trusted news environment with the stated guarantee that they will be invited back every day regardless of whether their statements are true

Dear journalists. When the US President is openly accused of paedophilia the story is either impeachment or defamation. If not, the story is how words have lost all meaning, truth has lost all value, and journalists are now completely desensitised to lying and corruption.

“Firing back”

Yet another reason to always go to Lowe's, not Home Depot.

Here's the dumb, cowardly, domestically violent scammer Mike Arthur, head of the illegal, fake "charity" @veterannation.bsky.social at The Bad Place tonight, using the auspices and branding of that "nonprofit" to be both a racist piece of shit and a violence-inducing traitor to the United States.

According to the official White House account, the US is in the midst of an "insurrection" that warrants federalization of the National Guard, which is why the President is attending a UFC fight and hanging out with Dana White.

Can confirm

Anecdotal, but I'm definitely noticing an uptick in advocacy for violence here. About which I'll say only this: Promoting violence on social media is the work of trolls and fools, those eager to bait others into implicating themselves in the age of surveillance or fools rushing to the gulag.

Now Hegseth is saying that the active duty Marines at Camp Pendleton are on alert to come in if the National Guard isn’t enough. The U.S. government is ready to unleash our own military on civilians. It is definitely time to be frightened about what is happening here.

What's happening tonight is anything but law and order. Don't be deceived.

I saw the trailer for the new Mission: Impossible movie and, like all Tom Cruise films, it left me with just one question: where is Shelly Miscavige?

This is bullshit! The separation code is malicious and purposeful — there are several other separation codes available that would do less harm to these veterans. Will not only negatively affect those wishing to work in the federal govt but will make civilian employers take a second look.

"... but when that violence is committed by law enforcement officers greatly exceeding their statutory, constitutional, and moral authority by aiming it at law-abiding citizens and lawful residents just trying to live their lives, this administration is A-OK with it."

This place disgusts me. These people should never experience a moment's peace for the rest of their lives.

Also, it's not hard to imagine (and be horrified by) this likelihood, too.

One of my favorite pieces of evidence proving this is Chad Sletten: The earlier account, @AustinSlayton5, tweeted this (L). TMA of Bucks County tweeted this (C) the same day. Sand Castle Winery (now called Blind Fox Vineyard), which Chad manages, is a few miles north of that road closure (R). 🤷‍♂️👍

When I see actions like this, the only people in uniform I see are roiders or pants pissers. I see no one protecting or serving the populace.

Also, this parade is pretty solid evidence that Stormy Daniels was being strategically generous in her description.

Here are historical photos and lithgraphs of each and every prior military parade celebrating an incumbent US president's birthday:

The LA protests will trigger a drumbeat of "law and order" messaging from the White House and their media allies as a prelude to invoking the Insurrection Act. This is entirely predictable, and any Dem or media outlet that facilitates this narrative will be aiding Trump's authoritarian project.

We've all complained about the lack of an edit, inability to save drafts, and the worst search function of any social media platform. But I hate the @bsky.app most because something as simple as a browser search, or opening Photos, causes it to restart—destroying a pending post.🤬 #It'sAwful #FixIt

Does Fox News shoot this in Lord of the Rings-type forced perspective, or is Greg Gutfeld really that tiny a piece of shit?

I’ve said it before but it is embarrassing that so many intellectuals spent years in small factional battles over the propriety of calling this fascism.

"These are real people with real families that you're hurting" SO ARE THE PEOPLE THEY'RE HURTING. AT YOUR ORDERS.
