G7 calls Iran the major source of terrorism in the Middle East. Yet Israel is attacking Lebanon, Syria and Iran, whilst starving Gaza, attacking Palestinians in the West Bank …

Well 14 years of austerity and pillaging didn’t work!

Whenever there’s a major international event, go looking for the Dutch or the Irish if you’re after a great time. So, this is anathema to everything I know of the Irish.

It’s obvious, right! This is the 1930s all over again.

You can't have the head of organisation, yielding almost complete control, a committed party politician and, not expect there to be an unreasonable effect.

Like Farage, he play's to and amplifies peoples fears. He has no solutions. No clue of governance. They both portray a vision of yesteryear, when skies were blue and life was better - it wasn't. Their doctrines are simple, but powerful infections, that spread via poor journalism and captive media.

Why would anyone as successful as Frank take a job with a guarantee of being fired?

Of course it is simplistic. It’s the nature of the platform. The Left (not Labour) fail to articulate or even formulate the alternatives. They also fail to deal with the disadvantages that they face, such as the dominance of the elite that control mass media.

When will the Left learn that they won’t survive by aping the Right!

Can someone explain why almost every Western government is riddled by such outrageous cowardice that they steadfastly refuse to condemn, never mind completely delegitimise this evil regime!

I live in France. It's a mystery to the French why the UK is so hostile.

Nobody seems concerned about Doyle, or what his family must be going through. Something has gone very wrong. Before I anyone states the obvious…it’s obvious! But clearly something went terribly wrong that day.

Reform repeating their true colours. Campaigning on the normal malign themes and untruths. Censure is the only correct way.

And still a complete failure of leadership from across the “free world “!

Given our history, what on earth is behind this cowardice?

Palantir is *very* close to the Trump White House.
It's been building access in Westminster. Peter Mandelson’s Global Counsel has advised Palantir, and the company has hired several former politicians, including ex-Tory Defence Minister Leo Docherty.

Nothing specific to add. Just predictable negativity, for the sake of it. Some times, you can say "well done!" Politics is dead!

The inability of the BBC to objectively report, without obsessing about balancing the 'flat earth' alternative also effects trust.

Europe should be looking East. There is a MASSIVE skills gap between East and West. China is moving so fast, it will be hard to catch without engagement. But Japan offers other possibilities.

I didn't hear anything from Starmer criticising immigrants ... I don't agree with Starmer, but it is wrong to misrepresent him. GBNews et al assume that role.

How can any government standby and not react unilaterally to this with the harshest of sanctions.

He’s a product of property development, which spearheaded the use of immigration for cheap labour.

Agency? I refer to the large number of health care workers that the UK brings in to avoid the cost of training its own workers, for example. Leaving the source of such workers critically low & unable to sustain high levels of care.

Don’t agree. And it addresses one of the great crimes of western immigration. Pillaging the best professionals from poorer nations, rather than training your own.

It's not anti immigrant. It's at best anti immigration. Which, given the fact that the UK has cut off it's biggest trading partner, post-Brexit, isn't surprising.

One of the most disturbing characteristics of the Starmer government is that they participate with & legitimise these organisations and their opinions.

It's everyone's business. But primarily the business of the UN, which the US has steadily marginalised over a number of administrations.

Trump is also someone "we" disagree with. Leaving established and respected organisations is not the right thing. Otherwise, everyone would leave the UN!
