Guy makes the classic error; the human species survived but a lot of humans didn't . I doubt the clown would agree that life with a 50% infant mortality rate was better than today's.

I have to believe there is a way to win that doesn't involve peeling away a handful of the least shitty voters from the most shitty coalition of voters of all time. I have to believe there is an untapped electorate that actually wants things to get better, not worse, and will respond to that call.

I had to deal with that when helping settle Dad's estate and getting Mom into long-term care 2 years ago... just slipped my mind.

Many non-voters stayed home because they saw no difference between the parties... Dems have reached so far across the aisle people think that's where they sit. Maybe they should stop being MAGA-lite and start drawing from the other 2/3 of the electorate.

That's the problem. There's too much focus on winning over these deeply irresponsible people and too little focus on helping people who need help. It's the reason so many Dem voters stayed home last time.
