The U.S. was instrumental in making Ukraine give up the nuclear weapons it controlled. In return, the U.S. gave Ukraine security guarantees, should it become the victim of foreign aggression. To claim this isn't America's problem is selfish, ignorant, and arrogant beyond belief.
