Putting aside the blatant lie, this is rich coming from the “stable genius “ who started a trade war that he lost almost immediately. Lolz

It’s market manipulation for sure.

One million percent. He should’ve been impeached already. Congress’s failure to act and voting against bills to reel him makes them enablers violating their oaths.

Trump doesn’t continue to slide into authoritarianism without the enablement of Congress. It’s not just him but every elected republican too.

Open borders? Isn’t all the kidnapping and deportation without due process because he wants closed borders?

Anything goes, but a tan suit? That’s treason of the highest order!

This isn’t just happening to people in the US “illegally”. There’s an added layer of grossness of her glam to make this video.

Isn’t this also indication that they are circumventing official channels of communication to avoid disclosure or investigation?

They’re working overtime trying to gaslight us.

This is what needs to be amplified along with the seriousness of the breach

Oops.

A hoax that was factually accurate 2 hours later? They really rely hard on the gaslighting.

It’s an unfortunate truth. That’s why it’s hard to have sympathy for trump voters who are now surprised the leopards are eating their faces too. Bigotry and hatred of anything “other” will do that to you I guess 🤷♀️

Just because a turd is made in America doesn’t mean we need to purchase or support a turd.

He caved to his billionaire and corporate donors for an attempt (failed) at short term stability rather than acting in the interest of our democracy. He is a coward and must resign his leadership role immediately.

Yeah the hypocrisy of what it was really like is not surprising. Sheryl’s “Lean In” was always bullshit.

It’s an easy, quick read and short at 350 pages.

I believe Meta successfully obtained a court order to stop promotion of the book. I think the premise was the author was in violation of non-disparagement agreements.

He’s a fucking liar. It is an impossibility for “doge” to identify this level of fraud in this amount of time with no actual auditors. It’s precisely why he can’t exactly articulate the fraud.

I just don’t understand the mentality among the working class who don’t want this. What will it take to make them understand wealth staying at top hurts them more than tax dollars investing in us.

Unfortunately they do. StoryGraph is similar to Goodreads, but it will take time to get used to. You can export all your data from Goodreads into StoryGraph so you don’t lose all of your bookshelves and reading history. There is a function on Goodreads that allows you to do an export.

Yup. I made the switch when I dumped all Amazon. Love it. I also moved to story graph from Goodreads because Amazon owns it.

I was literally a daily shopper at Target, until the news broke they decided to roll back DEI initiatives. I haven’t shopped with them since.
It hasn’t been as hard as I expected. Cut off Amazon too and don’t miss it.

They are going full court press of gaslighting. They really think the American people are stupid and not just trump supporters.

He also confirmed on national television that his administration are Russian assets. If anyone doubted that before today, it was solidified today.

It’s excellent. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator, Joniece Abbot-Pratt, was great. I’d encourage listening to the audiobook if you can.
Also, Due’s Ghost Summer, a collection of short stories, is really worth a listen.

Add The Reformatory by Tananarive Due to your list. She is a fantastic storyteller and this book was excellent.

Totally agree about impact being weakened as a result of purchases the days before and after. I think this should be two fronts. The sustained boycott of retailers who have walked back DEI, but a single day of no online or foot traffic to show we are paying attention and will act with our wallets.
comment in response to

It should also be said to not cram in purchases the day before or after. If they essentially get a bump on top of regular daily purchases, it might weaken the effect.

Nobody, absolutely nobody, should believe doge was able to identify and solve such levels of fraud. It’s impossible for this timing on this volume to have truly been reviewed and assessed.
It confounds me that this basic understanding is not being highlighted in MSM.
comment in response to

The damage is already done. All the data they have accessed is compromised, whether it’s to foreign nationals or to Musk’s own data hoard.
The MSM is doing a terrible job of making the public understand the harm that we now all face with this treasure trove of data he’s stolen in plain sight.

Exactly. He said Vance wasn’t the successor because he’s not leaving. He told us that when he said to maga they won’t need to vote again.
