Glad you’re starting to work there! As a Swede I would love for you to take out their ships, subs, harbour, docks, planes… And the GPS jamming. I’m sure Finland, Poland and the Baltic States agree. Though your own needs come first, of course.

Given that 4 Democrats were just shot, political leaders clearly do risk a bit more than their careers in today’s America. But, yes, they should still stand up.

It’s also forced RU to load more missiles on each plane, which requires more service and repairs and also wears them out faster.

Israel’s attack was clever, but in comparison fairly riskless for the operatives, surely?

Or perhaps the ambassador mixed up robots and systems?
comment in response to post
Aren’t they both right, (and perhaps both somewhat wrong)? Patriot robots have been returned to the US, who’ve sent them on to UA. If systems have also been sent, they would’ve gone the same way. IL needs plausible deniability even more than they need credit.

Thanks! So we Europeans needn’t be worried about him putting MAGA or RU interests before ours/NATO’s? How much will he understand about the intricacies of naval warfare in the Baltic Sea (I’m Swedish)? How supportive of Ukraine? Any postings in Europe?

@markhertling.bsky.social What can you tell us about this new SACEUR nominee with a belarusian surname?

Du har sett Elons svar? ”In light of the President’s statement about cancellation of my government contracts, @SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately.”

Does the Pentagon agree that he loves them? With all the firings, chaos and security breaches I somehow doubt that...

Now I’m curious. Lots of presidents and PMs have visited UA since 2022, but I can’t remember any royalty. Surely he’s not the first?

Vance and Rubio met the pope this morning. Could be because it suited them all better, could be because he’s a vice president, not a president.

Även Polen har väl presidentval idag? Ser kanske bättre ut än Rumänien, men säkra på deras kompass kan vi nog inte vara, tyvärr.

And exactly how much spyware has been installed in this plane before delivery? We all know this administration is far more interested in bling than in national (or international) security.

Not that I want to defend Trump, but in this case you’re wrong. There are two more men with blue ties just in that image, I saw several, including security agents, in blue suits, and then we have Zelensky, who wore neither suit nor tie, but what looked like some weird and rather ugly jacket.

This is to remind everyone that Ukraine is a founding member of the UN. Yes, Ukraine and Belarus were separate UN members even during Soviet times.

Someone needs to tell Trump there wouldn’t be a US if Europeans hadn’t gone there first. You owe your whole country to us!

I’m willing to give the Swiss a certain leniency. The UN, IRC, WCC etc etc are there, and it’s actually very important for the whole world that those org’s don’t suddenly find themselves in an active war zone. I won’t forgive the refusal to export arms, though.

Most of them think he’s too pro-russian. Which is what Trump doesn’t get. He believes the Ukrainian people wants a president that creates ”peace” by giving in to putler. Hence his demands for an election.

The same can be said about the US… (By ordinary citizens; Rutte can’t say it, of course, for obvious reasons.)

Rehire those who were let go due to the 12 year rule. Raise wages and rehire pilots. Ask Finland to lend us some officers, so that we can train more conscripts.
