Between Pope Leo speaking and thousands of protests, even if the parade were given “normal” coverage, it would be diminished coverage. I’m sure the Moron in Chief thinks nothing else should be covered, but he’s, well, a moron. BTW, there is a No Kings in Veterans Square. 11 am Sat. Be a warm body.

We just had two good friends retire to Spain to join others we worked with in CA in the late 90s. A guy who sat next to my cubicle in Dallas retired to Portugal several years ago. It would be ironic if these 16th-century empires arose again!

I applaud you, but this issue goes beyond Dreamers. Since the last immigration reform nearly 40 years ago, Congress and presidents have done NOTHING to make LEGAL immigration faster, simpler and more desirable. Now political neglect and abuse have created such a monster no one wants to solve it.

It is and yet it’s not. PR is 95% Spanish-speaking (though America Spanish differs slightly from
European Spanish), but more importantly, the US has continuously treated PR as an afterthought. And T, of course, was insulting after Hurricane Maria.
