Feeling for the people of Iowa today to have someone who may be governor who hates disabled and poor people so much…. But she loves JC, so I guess that’s ok?

Reminds me of DEA agents storming doctors offices with guns out and vests on. All to make an appointment with a doctor. (True story)….

Definitely! Also looking for recommendations for books with older characters??!! Kinda over reading about people in their twenties. Thanks!

Hi Courtney! Do you know of any good romance written about older characters? And I mean 40-ish +, which I don’t consider old, but I’m sick of reading about people who are barely out of their teenage years! Thanks!

I don’t even remember Obamagate, so I guess that says something!

A bit fishy, isn’t it?

Hit me personally after a decade of volunteering, paying my own way & dragging my painful body to DC annually to advocate for more pain research. What we worked on for ten years was dismantled in a day. Kinda a metaphor for everything they’re doing to our gov’t,but targeting people in pain is cruel.

Another early chapter in the war on drugs happened in San Francisco in the early 1900’s in direct response to white women visiting opium “dens”, resulting in a directly racist law against Asian people. Most people in pain are women (🤚) & I simply KNOW that those women were looking for pain relief….

Prohibition of substances (i.e. the war on drugs) has led to more suffering of disabled people, racism, illegal law enforcement, and corruption that most people could imagine. AI is ramping that up to the next level quickly. But on a lighter note, beer is revolutionary. ;)

And everyone should read it! www.wired.com/story/opioid...

Keep AI out of healthcare and law enforcement!!!! (At least until it actually does what it says it does without bias). Your article about PDMPs a few years back was one of the best articles I’ve seen about the attack on people in pain. Thank you.

NPR and PBS are definitely (IMHO) losing their funding here. It will happen to CBC if he’s elected….

Totally agree and so glad it worked for you! I was misdiagnosed with depression and forced to take SO many antidepressants. It took me a year and a half to get off the last one, and now I’m happy to not be on any. BUT again, I’m not against them and am happy they work for you and others….

What about small business? We don’t need phones and computers either?

I’ve always wanted to buy one!

WOW - nothing’s changed!

And you’re not going to find many people (quite a few on BlueSky) who support open borders and keeping non-documented criminals in the country.SO, why did this happen? Extremes on both sides are SO bad at communicating what needs to change with our immigration system, & fascists now run our country.

What is that? I’d love to learn it….

Not only is it bad for justice, it encourages them to continue to break the law and often in worse ways….

Such an easy solution. The board of Tesla should have said - choose either Tesla or the gov’t, you can’t do both. Idiot.

If you want to save your companies, go back to work idiot!

Maybe he should go back to work at Tesla and do his real job….

Agreed. People need to hit the ground there. Lots of money obviously doesn’t win elections for democrats anymore.

I can’t thank you enough for your comments that day. I’m a person in pain who has been trying to advocate for a decade against opioid de-prescribing. My father died in 2023 in hospice and was denied pain meds on the last day of his life. We need everyone on board-contact me if you want to help us!

I left the party a few years ago. They don’t listen to their constituents, as far as I can tell (and from my direct experience), and until they do, they’ll keep losing.

The first sentence is true, but there are adverse events from all drugs, so what’s the point? The rest is gobbly-gook.

Super valid idea. The fact what the board has done nothing means they will never do anything to save the company. Sell it, but wait until it goes back up a bit. ;)

He never needs to be reelected, so what does he care?
