If this were a scientific discussion, I would put it in the "not even wrong category. This phrase was famously coined by Wolfgang Pauli. In his native German: "Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig; es ist nicht einmal falsch!"

Cary 630 is actually a fantastic instrument, especially if you get both diamond and germanium ATR accessories. We have published two JACS and one PNAS paper with this little guy so far :)

The key problem with the current incarnation of "AI" is that it is not actually intelligent.
However, some of these models are good enough at conversations, so a few mediocre rich people think they can replace humans. Any company actually doing that should crash and burn.
