Idk how many times you dense fucking cabbages need to be told that’s not how elections work. It’s getting boring.
My vote was not a protest, it was for the candidate I believed was suited to lead.
Yours guaranteed a continuation of Biden’s genocide. Be a dumber sociopathic fucking ghoul.

It would be great if yall could stop giving politicians credit for stating the incredibly obvious, most low-hanging fruit takes possible.
She was also wrong about things, like the electability of promising to continue a genocide.
Have some standards, please.

Right, sorry, the other most important thing is to take care of yourself. Can’t help anyone if you’re a sobbing pile of stress and rage.

including tenant union, worker union, etc.), lefty book clubs, and so on are all revolutionary. Not everyone has to throw molotovs at the pigs to be part of making the world better.

I started with Chomsky, then Kropotkin, Emma Goldman, and Angela Davis. Audiobooks work better for me if that helps.
But mainly the most important thing is helping people however you can, which is always more effective in groups.
Art collectives, community gardens, union organizing (any kind…

WELL outside the machine, and pissed off until the day it dies.
Before a fender bender I had three bumper stickers:
Bernie 2016
Bernie 2020
A guillotine
Now comfortably call myself an organizer ✊🏼

My only evidence is anecdotal, I personally gave the Bernie campaign hundreds of hours in 2020, some paid but mostly volunteered. I think without him giving me hope that a politician could solve our problems I would’ve been done after Obama’s love affair with Wall Street.

Their function, whether they acknowledge it or not, is to shepherd leftists back into the fold of electoral politics.
But electoral politics didn’t end slavery, or Jim Crow, or give women the vote, or the 40 hour week, or weekends, or any other major victory for working/oppressed people.

Yeah I mean for clarity I fully do not believe electoral politics is an effective avenue for any kind of meaningful change. He was just the one who made me hold on the longest.

My disappointment in Bernie grows exponentially every year. He and AOC really taught me that politicians are liars and cannot be trusted, full stop.
Rashida’s great but ultimately the apparatus charges forth regardless of what she says.

I’ve seen it. It’s pretty brutal.
Israel can still fuck off into the sun because it never would’ve happened if they hadn’t built a fucking apartheid wall.

Lol so you’re one of those Democrats who think any and all criticism is from the right.
“Politically illiterate” is the word we use for that. There is a whole world (literally) to the left of the Democrats.
Love, an American anarchist 🖤

Hi I’m American, using the intended function of the site is not “plagiarism,” and Americans are divided whether a Canadian points it out or not.

Lmao you're a fuckin idiot. And we haven't read news on paper in decades.
People who understand what a primary source is know that a video of children picking up bomb fragments that say "made in USA" is more valuable than the NYT saying "it's complicated."
You have no business condescending.

Oh great! Since voting third party doesn’t “help” Republicans because that’s not how elections work, we’re good! You had me worried there.

They've had good practice with exactly that, being cops and all.

It's giving "cultist," tbh.
Tribalistic whinging that only Red Cult Bad but Blue Cult Good is why leftists don't trust or like you. You correctly hate the Republicans but refuse to accept that your people are on the same payroll. Recognize a good cop/bad cop duo or get made fun of more.

This was in reference to the people doing the pirating, not the people being raided.
Did you not get that? The Houthis are being compared to the IDF in this specific instance because of the way the press covers each one. Reading comprehension, bro.

I think they "win" if they're allowed to get away with destroying Palestine, killing and displacing 2 million people, and kidnapping activists in international waters without consequence.
Of course, property destruction against businesses who help them isn't "violence", strictly speaking. So.
